        감자의 四倍體種과 FDR 系統과의 交雜에 依한 多收性品種의 育成硏究

        Progenies of the crosses of tetraploids and diploid FDR(First Division Restitution) clones were clonally compared for true potato seed cultivation and tuber cultivation methods. Correlations were not observed for the tuber production between true potato seed and tuber cultivation methods. True seed obtained by open pollination of tetraploid clones and F₁ seeds obtained by crosses of tetraploid × FDR clones were cultivated in fall and spring. Total tuber production were higher in fall or in spring on the parents, however, marketable tubers (above 50 gram) were produced more in fall than in spring in all lines. Cross pollinated F₁ progenies were superior in the tuber production than the open pollinated progenies. This indicates that heterosis by genetic diversity is important in the true potato seed production.

        감자의 種間雜種에依한 多收性 品種 育成試驗

        Diploid Solanum species, diploid species-haploid S. tuberosum hybrid and tetraploid S. tuberosums were used for 4x-2x cross breeding method. 15 diploid bulk seed families and 26 diploid clones were planted to find clones with high yield and to find clones producing unreduced male gametes to cross to tetraploids. Two to 21 clones from 11 bulk seed families were saved among 15 bulk seed families to use as breeding materials. Two clones out of sixteen studied had more than 4% of unreduced diploid pollen and 14 clones had less than 1% of unreduced pollen. Four diploid clones were selected, because of high yield, in order to cross with FDR clones to transfer the FDR producing gene into them. 30 to 250 seeds were obtained in eleven 4x-2x cross combinations.
