        땅콩 低溫發芽力의 品種間 差異

        The seed vigor of 178 peanut varieties were tested at low temperature regimes of 10℃, 12℃, and 14℃, to search the gene sources for improving the seed vigor of peanuts in low temperature seeding. The germination percentage, geimination rate, average days to germination, and germination coefficient were compared between botanical types, seed sizes, and origins. Means of germination percentage was 18.6% at 12℃ and 39.7% at 14℃, while at l4℃ germinated not at all. 32 varieties showed no germination, and two varieties germinated over 80% at 12℃, and 17 varieties showed over 80% of germination at 14℃. Botanical type of ssp. fastigiata had higher seed vigor than ssp. hypogaea, and the difference of percent germination between the two types were greater in smaller-seeded varieties. Seed size was found to be negatively correlated with germination percentage, germination rate, and germination coefficient at 12℃ and 14℃. The varieties originated from Taiwan and Philippines showed the highest seed vigor while varieties of Korea were the lowest in low temperature germination. However New Mexico Valencia, Valencia type and PI 119810, Spanish type germinated 95% and l00% at 12℃ and 100% at 14℃, were selected as high germinability cultivar in low temperature.

        揷木繁植에 의한 땅콩種子增殖

        This experiment was carried out to establish the cutting method and to increase the seeds of F₂ populations by cutting from F₁ plant. Cuttings treated with NAA were higher than IAA in rooting ratio, and which in the concentration of 1,000ppm cuttings were rooted highest by 89.8% and sections with 2-bud also higher than 1-bud in rooting. In the cultured clay soil cutting media, cuttings showed better rooting success with vigorous growth than in sand or uncultured soil media. From a F₁ hybrid plant, 4 and 57 rooted cuttings were taken which produced average of 15 and 11 seeds per twice respective cutting at 75 days and 125 days after planting seed stock. Therefore 2 lots of cutting from a plant and seed stock produced 794 seeds totally.

        땅콩脂肪含量과 脂肪酸助成의 品種間 差異

        The oil content and fatty acid composition of 281 peanut varieties which were introduced from abraod, collected and bred in Korea, were evaluated to search the breeding materials of high oil content and good oil quality. The oil content of all varieties ranged from 40.4% to 60.2%. The average oleic acid (18 : 1) content of peanut oil was 42.2% and ranged from 32.1 to 55.4%, average linoleic acid (18 : 2) was 39.0% and ranged between 26.2 and 49.0%. Korea bred lines and PI lines were the highest in oleic and linoleic acid, respectively. Average concentration was 10.0%(range 4.1~17.5%) in palmitic(16 : 0), 2.5% (range 0. 7~5.7%) in stearic (18 : 0), 2.3% (range 0~4.9%) in arachidic (20 : 0), 1.3% (range 0~4.3%) in eicosenoic (22 : 1), and 2.8% (range 0~9.2%) in behenic acid (22 : 0). Oleic acid content was higher in small-seeded varieties while linoleic was higher in the large-seeded varieties. The highly negative correlation was shown between the concentration of the major high quality fatty acid, oleic plus linoleic, and each minor acid, palmitic, stearic, arachidic, eicosenoic and behenic acid.
