With limited/no guidelines on prostate cancer (PCa) diagnosis and management currently in India, this consensus statement has been developed to evaluate Indian literature and current clinical practices to assist healthcare professionals across India in the diagnosis and management of patients with PCa. A group of leading PCa experts from across India convened at the 2019 CAP summit in Kolkata, India, to vote on 42 consensus statements on PCa diagnosis and management. In the subsequent meeting, an expert panel discussed on the consensus results. On the basis of the voting results and the subsequent expert panel discussion, 5 of 42 statements were deleted and 37 were accepted and retained in the final draft, which is divided into 2 parts. This paper covers part 2, which describes in detail the remaining 21 of 37 statements on locally advanced PCa and metastatic PCa with varying degrees of support from the panel. The consensus statement extrapolated from Indian scientific evidences, regional clinical experiences, and international guidelines will serve as a reference guide for clinicians across India in the diagnosis and management of PCa.

Purpose: To evaluate Indian literature, clinical practice and develop consensus opinion on various aspects of prostate cancer diagnosis and management in order to assist medical practitioners across India in effectively choosing right treatment option for patients with prostate cancer. Materials and Methods: At the CAP summit held in Kolkata on 2019, a group of leading experts from across India voted on 42 consensus statements. Final statements were derived on the basis of voting results and subsequent expert panel meeting. Based on the panellists discussion on various areas of prostate cancer and practicability of recommendation in clinical practice, 5 statements were deleted and a draft was prepared. The draft is divided into 2 parts; part 1 covers 16 statements on prostate cancer diagnosis and early prostate cancer. Results: A total of 37 statements were accepted and finalised by expert panel members based on the voting results. Sixteen statements with varying degrees of support from the panel are described in detail in this article. Conclusions: The statements derived from several Indian scientific evidences, local clinical experience, and international guidelines will serve as a reference guide for clinicians across India in the management of prostate cancer.
Object Based Fast Motion Estimation and Compensation Algorithm for Surveillance Video Compression

In surveillance systems, the storage requirements for video archival are a major concern because of recording of videos continuously for long periods of time, resulting in large amounts of data. Therefore, it is essential to apply efficient compression techniques for compressing surveillance video. The techniques used for the general video compression may not be the efficient technique for the compression of surveillance video because of the use of static camera as compared to moving camera in general purpose videos. Generally surveillance video consist of multiple objects, smaller in size as compared to the background and they have frequents occlusion with each other. In this paper a new object based motion estimation and compensation technique for surveillance video compression is proposed. Background differencing and summing technique (BDST) is used for the segmentation of the moving objects. This technique not only identifies moving object but also the maximum distance moved by the object in given group of frames. A bonding box is created based on the movement of the object in order to segment the moving objects. For exploiting the temporal redundancy, the motion estimation and compensation is carried out for the bonding box region only. The multiresolution property of discrete wavelet transform is used for the motion estimation and compensation. Experimental results show that the approach achieves high compression ratios compared to MPEG-2 compression.

A bus network of communicating processors is anlayzed. The processors in the network are equipped with front-end processors. The problem is to determine an optimal partitioning of a matrix to compute matrix-vector multiplication so that these individual parts can be computed independently in several processors in minimum time. Some important results are proved analytically using the closed form solution.
Photosynthesis and Water-Use Efficiency of Some Mangroves from Sundarbans, India

We studied seasonal fluctuations in the rates of photosynthesis, transpiration, PAR, and stomatal conductance for 16 species of true mangroves from the Sundarbans region of West Bengal. Soil salinity and pH were also measured. Leaf temperatures were almost always higher than the ambient temperature. We observed considerable seasonal (summer vs winter) as well as interspecific variations in photosynthesis, with the highest rates occurring in Heritiera fomes (13.21μ㏖ m^-2 s^-1) and Avicennia marina (11.8μ㏖ m^-2 s^-1), and the lowest in Nypa fruticans (1.56μ㏖ m^-2 s^-1) and Ceriops decandra (2.32μ㏖ m^-2 s^-1). In many species, an abrupt rise in leaf temperature retarded the photosynthetic process. In winter, the rate of transpiration and stomatal conductance reached their maxima in A. marina (4.83m㏖ m^-2 s^-1 and 124.23 m㏖ m^-2 s^-1, respectively) and their mimima in Excoecaria agallocha (1.85m㏖ m^-2 s^-1 and 49.19m㏖ m^-2 s^-1, respectively). In contrast, the maximum summer readings were recorded in E. agallocha (6.07m㏖ m^-2 s^-1 and 192.74m㏖ m^-2 s^-1 respectively).
Delivery of Video Data in a VoD System

Rapid developments in multimedia technology over the past decade has caused video-on-demand services to emerge not only as a new paradigm in entertainment but also as a commercially lucrative proposition. But a full-fledged development of such a service has to first deal with several critical issues related to the delivery of video data over MANs or WANs. Because of the large volume of data involved in the process and stringent continuity and real-time constraints, these issues pose challenges that are different from the standard file transfer operations in the network. The necessity of efficient usage of scarce fesources like network bandwidth and server capacith (in terms of I/O bandwidth) demands novel and east-to-use schemes for delivering continuous video streams. This paper presents an overview of VoD session management issues and scheduling policies for video delivery.
