        Many of the conflicts that occur today in the world for the control of space and resources, seem to indicate that the topic of human and environmental rights, represent the discursive core surrounding which is being currently constructed historical ethos of modernity. However, more than one environmental issue, disputes through space seems to point towards a field which, since quite some time, has been almost totally abandoned by specialists: ethics. This article will explore the possibility to read the current politic and territorial Mexico reality on the lens of ethical analysis in order to overcome the ideological discourse around rights (both human and environmental) limitations, positioning in the field of concrete practices on which try to build different actors future projects.

        Poder y Territorio en México : el proyecto hidroeléctrico zongolica, veracruz

        El territorio comprendido dentro de tres municipios de la Sierra de Zongolica (Veracruz, México), es actualmente escenario de una confrontación, tanto manifiesta como latente, entre maneras distintas de pensar y realizar el territorio. Por un lado un importante consorcio privado empeñado en los trabajos de realización de la estructura que servirá de base para la producción y venta de energía hidroeléctrica; por el otro un mosaico diverso de localidades cuyas relaciones socio-ecológicas están siendo radicalmente trastocadas por la emergencia de dicho proyecto. En el presente artículo, a través de un enfoque eco-político, se analizarán los impactos determinados por tal coyuntura a partir de un trabajo etnográfico realizado a lo largo de poco más de un año, entre los meses de octubre de 2011 y diciembre de 2012. The territory within three municipalities of the Sierra de Zongolica (Veracruz, Mexico), is currently the scene of a confrontation, both overt and latent, between different ways of thinking and make the territory. On the one hand an important private consortium, endeavoring to carry out the work of the structure, which will be the basis for the production and sale of hydroelectric energy, on the other, a diverse mosaic of localities, whose intra‐and inter community relations are being radically disrupted by the emergence of the project. In this paper, through a political ecology approach, we analyze the impacts determined by this situation from an ethnographic study conducted between October 2011 and December 2012.         Study and optimization of an annular photocatalytic slurry reactor

        The experimental results obtained for the photocatalytic degradation of a model organic dye in an annular slurry reactor are analyzed with the aid of a mathematical model. The model is used also to study the effects on the performances of many operative conditions: flow rate, photocatalyst concentration, power of the lamp, size of the photocatalytic particles, dimensions of the reactor. The investigation demonstrates that the rate of the process is often limited by the radiant energy transfer and that some simple rules can be followed in order to optimize different yields and the observed rate of reaction.
