해양에서 물리적 에너지원으로는 조류, 조력, 파력, 해양온도차에너지(Ocean Thermal Energy : OTE)가 있으며, OTE 개발을 위해서는 우선 부존 자원량 파악과 개발적지 선정이 선행되어야 한다. 이를 위해 대상해역의 표층과 심층간의 수온차이 값({Delta}T)에 대한 연중출현확률의 산정이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 {Delta}T의 연중출현확률을 산정하기 위해 남해 해역을 대상으로 47년간(1961~2007) 격월 별(2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12월)로 관측된 93개 정점의 정선해양관측자료(국립수산과학원)를 사용하였다. {Delta}T값을 정량화 하고자 정점 별 {Delta}T(> 5?C, > 10?C, > 15?C)의 연중출현확률을 빈도분석과 조화분석 방법을 사용하여 계산하고 이를 공간적으로 광역적 규모와 지역적 규모에서 두 방법의 장단점을 비교, 분석 하였다.

In order to assess seasonal and geographical characteristics of pollutant Escherichia coli, we investigated its distribution in Nakdong River mouth and Busan coastal water from February 2013 to November 2015. The coastal area was divided into five different zones (I-V) based on the pollutant level and geographical characteristics. During the study periods, water temperature and salinity varied from 7.50 to 27.64℃ and 16.82 to 34.82 psu, respectively. The annual water temperature variation was characterized in temperate zone. The salinity was significantly (p<0.05) decreased in zone IV and zone III after heavy rain during summer season in 2014, resulting led to elevated E. coli biomass. The highest colony formation of E. coli was recorded at 6,000 cfu l<sup>-1</sup> during autumn at station 1 (zone I). On the other hands, during all seasons of 2015, E. coli abundances were kept to be low level in zone III. The E. coli was not significantly (p>0.05) correlated with water temperature. However, the salinity was significantly (r=-0.53, p<0.05) correlated with the E. coli, implying that salinity plays a crucial role in the proliferation of E. coli. Consequently, E. coli in western Busan coastal water might have been significantly promoted by pollutant sources from Nakdong Rive discharge during the spring and summer rainy seasons depending on annual rainfall variations. On the other hands, E. coli in station 1 (i.e., Suyeong Bay) was obviously high due to influences of discharge water from municipal wastewater treatment plant. However, there was no clear seasonality of E. coli.
Overslam Evaluation and Improvement Research in Hood Slam Events

To get or predict hood overslam value for vehicle being developed, we have no other choice without performing slam test or doing CAE work up to now. But, as everyone knows, not only slam test and FE analysis are very difficult in terms of preparing test buck and slam model at the development stage, but curtailment of production cost of test vehicle and the saving of time are the important requirements for the automotive industry. This paper investigates the structural stiffness of hood and upper tie bar in various small vehicles and explores the relationship between each performance and overslam distributions by using LS-DYNA model and slam test. The object of this paper is to present a method that can be used to evaluate rapidly and more easily the calculation of hood overslam amounts only using simple equations. In order to check the accuracy of the method, we compared with analysis result through proposed calculation method and test results utilizing half body test buck, it has shown good agreements each other.
Castle Nut 체결에 대한 BJ Stem부 나사의 신뢰성 평가

The castle nut has bean used in front wheel drive vehicle to assemble the half shaft. However when it tighten a castle nut, a large axial force is applied to the thread of BJ stem. This may cause stress concentration to the BJ Stem and also affect breakdown of the thread. Therefore, reliability estimation for the castle nut is required. The reliability estimation of the castle nut is performed using theoretical method, FEM and is verified by the real test. In this paper, the analysis methods to predict axial force of the castle nut is proposed. First, the theoretical method of evaluating the axial force and tensile stress of the castle nut is presented. Second, the tensile test and axial force test procedure for the castle nut is also proposed. Therefore, the reliability of the proposed methods was evaluated according to the comparison. In addition, these two results of proposed methods are applied to the analysis of the safety rate.

The wheel nut plays a role as installation of wheel & tire Assembly for chassis corner module. The wheel nut is one of the most frequent reorganization parts. On the other hand, it also should be maintained its fastening state for the safety. However when it driving a vehicle, the various causes occur to reduce the fastening force. Inadequate fastening force of wheel nut leads slip and rotation to wheel and hub bolt. This may cause shear-stress concentration to the hub bolt and also affect breakdown of it. This phenomenon is closely connected with noise and vibration. In this paper, the experimental methods to estimations of fastening force reduced is proposed. Also this estimates the fastening force of wheel nut as fastening condition and suggest an appropriate fastening condition.

Consumers began to be interested in NVH side except automotive performance according to development of a vehicles technology. Specially, many among main NVH problem that happen in vehicles was referred with brake system, and many factors were referred with DISC DTV, LRO and roughness. Recently, Car makers began to be interested in noise that is cased by disc harmonic DTV additional. In this study, proved interrelation with harmonic degree occurrence and speed of disc and grinding wheel revolution at grinding process through FFT analysis, and analyzed effect that grinding stabilization time and FEED speed get to HARMONIC DTV. Target of this study is to find most suitable grinding condition conclusively.

Radial pressure and force of press fit are related with the fatigue life of 1<SUP>st</SUP> generation wheel bearing unit. But most design hand books for bearing or bearing catalogues are different with real force and pressure. So the purpose of this study is to predict the radial pressure and press fit force of bearing. This study considers the state of stress on an infinitesimal element of thickness per unit, described by polar coordinate, which is used for leading basic equations of radial pressure. But basic equations are not accurate. So we must consider other factors that are plastic deformation, surface roughness, shape of mounted parts and friction. This study measures the plastic deformation, calculates radial pressure by finite element method and test friction between two contact parts. The final aim of this study is making accurate equations for press fits of wheel bearing. And this study will be reference for auto parts designers.
