Fluoride is one of the most potent stimulators of bone formation in vivo. But its direct effects on osteoblast is not yet clear. This study was to investigate the effects of Sodium fluoride on alkaline phosphatase(ALP) activity, cAMP formation responsive to parathormone(PTH) and type I α 2 collagen ribonucleic acid (mRNA) level in Murin osteoblast-like (MC3T3-E1) cells. The cells were cultured in α-Minimal essential medium (α-MEM) supplement with 10% fetal bovine serum (FBS) and then changed to 0.1% FBS with various concentration of Sodium fluoride. The ALP activity was assayed by the method of Lowry with disodium phenyl phosphated as substrate. cAMP formation was measured by Radioimmuno Assay(RlA). Type I α 2 collagen ribonucleic acid(mRNA) expression was studied by Nothern blot analysis. The results were as follows : 1. cAMP level was increased by PTH in MC3T3-E1 cells. 2. Sodium fluoride showed the tendency of inhibitory effects on cAMP responsiveness to PTH in MC3T3-E1 cells. 3. Sodium fluoride increased ALP activity at cocentration of 2µM, 4µM, and 10µM significantly different from control at the 0.001 level. ALP activity revealed maximum value at 10µM in this study. 4. Nothern blot analysis of Sodium fluoride treated cells, using Type I α 2 collagen prove, revealed significant increase at 10µM in MC3T3-E1 cells.
과학자 유형에 따른 학습이 과학에 대한 태도, 과학실험 목적에 대한 인식, 과학자에 대한 인식에 미치는 영향

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of learning according to the type of scientist on the attitude toward science, the perception of scientific experiment purpose, and the perception of scientist. For this purpose, 44 students from two classes of 6 grade D elementary school located in Busan Metropolitan City were composed of `Experimental Group 1` and `Experimental Group 2`. Experimental group 1 used reading material about the life of a scientist who had a negative social influence. Conversely, Experimental Group 2 used the reading materials about the life of scientists who had a positive influence on the society that appeared in the wisdom. As a result of the pre-test, the two groups were assumed to be the same group with no significant difference in the attitude toward science and after the experimental treatment, post-test was performed and statistically verified. In this study, the following conclusions were obtained. First, learning by Scientist type has positive effects on the attitude toward science. Particularly, when studying a scientist who has adversely affected societies, it has a more significant effect on the subordinate application of scientific attitude as well as overall attitude toward science. On the other hand, there appears to be a more positive change in the social meaning of science and the norms of scientists in the study of scientists who have a positive social impact. Second, learning by Scientist type focuses on the inner value such as personal development and satisfaction. In particular, when studying a scientist who has a positive social impact, there was a tendency to understand the purpose of the experiment of scientist and the purpose of the science experiment at the school in accordance with cognitive domain which is the subcategory of the inner value domain. Third, learning by Scientist type has a positive effect on changing the perception of scientist. If you are learning about a scientist who has a socially adverse impact, you will be more interested in the scientist, and if you are learning about a scientist who has a positive social impact, you will be aware of the diversity of the scientist and broaden the scope of thoughts. The results of this study can be concluded that the learning according to the type of scientist has a significant effect on the attitude toward science and the change of perception on scientists. Learning about scientists with socially negative influences has a more positive effect in raising overall attitudes toward science and interest in scientists. On the other hand, learning about scientists who have a positive social impact is more effective in positively changing subelement attitudes toward science and perceptions of scientists. In this sense, it seems that the educational effect occurs when both sides are used appropriately rather than only one of the socially negative scientist or the socially positive scientist. Learning about scientists can also help students become interested and curious about science classes. If a steady study is done, students will have a scientific attitude like critical thinking, a positive attitude toward scientists and science, and a stepping stone to develop scientific literacy.
동기식 IR-UWB 시스템에서 불완전 동기 환경에 강인한 채널 추정 기법

본 논문에서는 IEEE 802.15.4a를 기반으로 한 IR-UWB (Impulse Radio ? Ultra-wideband) 시스템에서 잔여 주파수 오프셋의 영향을 줄이는 채널 추정 기법을 제안한다. 실제로 IR-UWB 수신기는 제한된 프리앰블 심볼의 개수 때문에 주파수 동기를 완벽하게 수행할 수 없다. 따라서 잔여 주파수 오프셋이 존재하고 이 영향으로 채널 추정 과정에서 상당한 오류가 발생하게 된다. 제안된 채널 추정 기법은 채널 추정과정에서 얻어낸 다중경로 프로파일을 이용하여 주파수 동기에 대한 정보를 획득하고 그것을 이용함으로써 제한된 수의 프리앰블 심볼을 가지고도 잔여 주파수 오프셋을 보상하고 잔여 주파수 오프셋에 의한 채널 추정 오류를 수정하여 정확한 채널 상태 정보를 추정하는 기법이다. 제안된 알고리즘을 IEEE 802.15.4a에서 제시한 채널 모델에 적용하여 모의실험 하였으며 제안된 채널 추정 알고리즘과 기존의 채널 주정 알고리즘을 비교 분석하여 성능이 개선됨을 확인하였다. A novel channel estimation scheme is proposed for coherent Impulse Radio Ultra Wideband (IR-UWB) system based on IEEE 802.15.4a specification. By extracting and utilizing the information on the frequency synchronization, the proposed channel estimation algorithm improves the receiver performance even under the restricted number of preamble symbols in IEEE 802.15.4a signal format. Simulation results over the IEEE 802.15.4a channel models show the performance gain with the proposed algorithm compared to ordinary channel estimation method.

기존에 제안된 K-NN 기반 추천 방안은 타겟 유저와 유사한 유저들 중 소수만이 높은 평점을 부여한 아이템을 높게 평가하는 문제점이 존재한다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 유사한 유저들 중 일부만 평가한 아이템은 추천에서 제외하는 방안을 제안하고, 실험을 통해 제안하는 방안의 정확성을 검증하였다.
