In this study, both hardness and microstructure of tungsten materials with different sizes of starting powder were investigated. Especially, the effect of staring powder size on the characteristics of sintered tungsten materials was examined. The tungsten materials were fabricated by pressure assisted soild state sintering process. Tungsten powder was consolidated at the temperature of 1500 ℃. The hardness of tungsten materials were affected by the sizes of starting powder, due to the variation of their microstures.
