본 연구는 1955년부터 1963년 사이에 출생한 집단인 베이비붐세대, 그 가운데 여성들의 경제활동 현장에서의 실태를 파악하고 이들의 경제활동 참여를 촉진하기 위한 방안의 하나로 인적자원개발의 측면을 살펴보았다. 첫째, 베이비붐 세대의 경제활동 참여율을 살펴보면 여성이 남성에 비해 낮았다. 남성의 경우 학력수준이 높을수록 경제활동참여가 높은 반면 여성의 경우 대학원졸 이상을 제외하고는 학력수준이 낮은 집단의 경제활동참여율이 높았다. 베이비붐 세대의 혼인상태별 경제활동 현황은 배우자가 있는 경우 참여율이 가장 높았다. 그러나 성별에 따라 살펴보면, 여성은 배우자가 있는 경우 경제활동 참여가 가장 낮은 반면 남성은 배우자가 있는 경우 가장 높아 남성과 여성의 혼인상태별 경제활동 참여율의 현격한 차이를 드러냈다. 둘째, 베이비붐 세대 여성의 경제활동 참여는 비경제활동여성에 비해 자아존중감, 자신의 능력에 대한 확신감을 높여주었다. 경제적인 측면은 삶의 질을 구성하는 핵심 영역이며 개인은 직장을 통해 경제적 안정을 비롯한 많은 것들을 성취할 수 있는 것이다. 베이비붐 세대 여성의 노후에 안정적인 소득원을 확보해 주기 위해 재취업지원이 필요하며, 그 방안의 하나로 인적자원개발을 연관시킬 수 있다. 경제활동 진입을 시도하는 여성이 경제활동에 참여하게 된 가장 큰 요인은 인적자원개발이라는 연구 결과를 통해, 베이비붐 세대 여성 인적자원개발이 경제활동 참여를 촉진시키는 역할을 한다고 볼 수 있다. This study focusing on analyzing Baby boomers Women(born between 1955 and 1963)’s Labor Force Participation. Promote Baby boomers women’s Human Resource Development which makes baby boomers women can contribute to economic activity. First of all, look at economic activity participation of the baby boomers, women’s economic activity participation was lower than for men. The higher the education level of man participation in economic activity is high. Whereas Except for the Graduate School at least, the lower the educational level of women participation in economic activity is high. If women have a spouse has the lowest labor force participation. The other side, If men have a spouse has the highest labor force participation. Men and Women according to marriage condition, Revealed striking differences in labor force participation. Secondly, baby boomers women’s participation in labor force compared to economically inactive women self-esteem, enhancing a sense of confidence in his ability was. Women who do not participate in economic activity as opposed to, Baby boomers women’s participation in economic activities, self-esteem, confidence in their ability increases. Economic aspects that make the quality of life is a key area. nd economic stability due to having a job, and many things can be accomplished. Baby boomers women’s retirement income to ensure a stable re-employment assistance is needed. Attempts to enter the economic activity of women in economic activities to become a part of the biggest factors is the human resource development. Consequently Baby boomer women to participate in human resource development to stimulate economic activity can be identified. From this point of view, it is important that promote Baby boomers women’s Human Resource Development which makes baby boomers women can contribute to economic activity.
