산업 자동화 교육훈련을 위한 웹기반 PLC 실험실의 설계 및 구현

인터넷기술의 눈부신 발전으로, 대학 및 교육기관에서는 인터넷을 통하여 많은 e-learning 강좌를 제공하고 있어 시간과 거리상 제약을 받고 있는 많은 학생들에게 혜택을 주고 있다. 그럼에도 불구하고, 대부분의 웹기반 강좌 는 공학기술교육의 필요성을 충족시킬 수 없었다. 본 논문에서는 산업 자동화 교육 훈련을 위한 웹기반 PLC 실험실 의 설계와 구현을 제안하였다. 제안된 웹기반 PLC 실험실 시스템은 가상실험실과 원격실험실로 구성하였다. 웹기반 PLC 실험실은 많은 추가 비용 없이 교육의 질을 높이면서 등록된 학생들이 집에서 접속이 가능하다. 학생들은 웹 카 메라의 도움으로 인터넷을 통하여 실제와 같은 PLC 실험을 보다 잘 경험 할 수 있다. Due to significant advances in Internet technology, there have been many e-learning courses offered by universities and academic institutes nowadays through the Internet. And these courses have benefited many students who might be constrained by distance and time. Nevertheless, most web-based courses are lecturing courses that cannot fulfill the needs for engineering technology education. In this paper, we propose the design and implementation of web-based programmable logic controller(PLC) laboratory to support learning and training for industrial automation. The proposed web-based PLC laboratory system consists of virtual labs and remote labs. This web-based PLC laboratory can be accessed by registered students to practice PLC experiments at their own home, enhancing the quality of education without much increasing in the overall cost. With the help of web cameras, the students can even have experience the live PLC experiments through the Internet.
