In this paper, the current controlled active power filter(APF) with the performance of reducing harmonic and improving power factor is studied. It has high speed and good performance with low cost.<br/> The current controlled shunt APF is proposed, and the control part of APF is designed of SOC(System On Chip). So this system has low expense and good performance.<br/> In this study, the micro-controller which designed with VHDL is applied to APF system. And the proposed technique in this paper demonstrates the excellent of the dedicated micro-controller. VHDL-based ASIC can simplify<br/> the process of development and has a competition in market because it reduces the consuming time for the design of IC(Integrated Circuit) in system level.
정전비용 고려한 PV시스템의 배전계통 연계 우선순위 결정에 관한 연구

In this paper, when photovoltaic systems are connected to distribution system, most effective capacity and location of PV system are studied considering customer interruption costs of power distribution system. The reliability model of PV system considering the duration of sunshine, the model of time-varying load and Roy Billinton test system (bus2 model) are used. To simulate the effects of PV system, various cases are selected; (1) base case which is no connection of PV system to power distribution system when faults are occurred, (2) 3MW case which is 3[MW] connection of PV system (3) 4[MW] case, and (4) 20[MW] case which is 20[MW] connection of PV system to the bus of power distribution system. The capacity limit of connected PV system is settled to 14[MW] for all cases except case 4. The reliability and customer interruption costs for residential, general, industrial, and educational customer is evaluated.

Matching transformer in Dynamic Voltage Compensator is needed for grid connection and isolation. Flux saturation in transformer will be occurred by voltage of transformer from inverter and DC offset voltage and flux saturation makes over current in transformer. In this paper, mathematical modeling of matching transformer is proposed for flux saturation simulation of Dynamic Voltage Compensator.

The recent growth in the use of impactive and nonlinear loads, electronic, and medical devices sensitive to power quality has caused many power quality problems and power supply-and-demand problem. Recently, in power system, not only the reliability of the power supply but also the DVR(Dynamic Voltage Restorer), UPS, and APF are being studied more and more. Hence, in this paper, Voltage sag detection algorithm for voltage sag corrector is proposed. Also, simple circuit for the experimental voltage sag is introduced.

In this study, the new method of element division based on modulifcation which has two kinds of sectors and attributed at each, linked whole area is suggested. Conventional division method has served appropriate to the shape of subdivision degree while the subdivision is needed to conversion step but modulificated element subdivision link method has the merits that it has not need to change attribute of sectors according to the shape and the whole analysis area could be included by simple combination of basic vectors.

Usefulness of recent versions of PSPICE, personal computer implementation of the SPICE, circuit simulation computer software rogram is demonsterated in simulation of the hysteresis loops magnetic materials. In order to model the hysteresis loop of a particular magnetic core's B-H characteristics, the values of five parameters, which affect the shape of the hysteresis loops, must be established. There is no efficient procedure for selecting the values of five parameters. Neither the PSPICE instruction munual nor any current books or papers address this problem. This paper presents a method for illustrating the effect that each parameter has on the shape of the hysteresis loop.
