COVID-19 환자 간호에 참여한 간호사의 직무스트레스와 극복력이 소진에 미치는 영향

        하희주 ( Heejoo Ha ) 이화간호과학연구소 2022 Health & Nursing Vol.34 No.1

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the relationship between job stress, resilience, and burnout among nurses participating in COVID-19 patient care, and to investigate the factors influencing burnout. Methods: Data were collected from 144 nurses who participated directly in COVID-19 patient care in hospitals from June 1 to October 20, 2021. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson’s correlation coefficient, and multiple linear regression analysis. Results: There was a significant positive correlation between job stress and the resilience of the subjects (r = .25, p < 0.01) and a negative correlation between resilience and burnout (r = -.51, p < 0.01). Multiple regression analysis revealed that job stress (β = .25, p = .001) and resilience (β = -.57, p < .001) had a significant effect on burnout. Conclusion: The results of the study showed that increased job stress and reduced resilience of nurses who participated in COVID-19 patient care had a significant effect on burnout. These findings are expected to provide insight into burnout experienced by nurses, which could be improved by reducing job stress and increasing resilience in crisis situations.
