This study analyzed the flow inside floating seedling equipment for Scapharca subcrenata. Due to the aging society of fishing villages, it is impossible to continuously input the labor force. Therefore, it is necessary to improve efficiency. Scapharca subcrenata has high per capita consumption. It serves as an important aquatic food resource. Scapharca subcrenata culture tends to be highly dependent on the natural environment. Production of Scapharca subcrenata is difficult to predict with low stability. In the past, manpower directly installed bamboo nets in mudflats. The seedling equipment devised in this study is a floating type and can be freely moved on the sea according to the prediction of Scapharca subcrenata generation. The flow around the floating seedling equipment was analyzed by numerical analysis. The physical phenomena of the flow around the net inside the floating seedling equipment were visualized. As a result, the space between the floating seedling equipment and the bottom net and the space between the net groups showed a lower flow rate than the inlet flow rate. It is expected that the low flow rate of the floating seedling equipment will have a positive effect on the attachment of Scapharca subcrenata.
기후변화로 인한 해수면 상승이 해안도시의 해군 부대시설에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

This study derived the impacts of sea level rises due to climate change on 7 major naval unit facilities (located at coastal cities including Incheon, Pyeongtaek, Mokpo, Jeju, Jinhae, Busan, and Donghae) by applying the average sea level rise value in the extreme scenario and RCP8.5, presented in the Korea Climate Change Evaluation Report 2020, which analyzed according to the characteristics of the Korean Peninsula based on the IPCC 5th report. As a result, it was found that 2 (Mokpo, Jeju) out of 7 major naval units lost their operational feasibility and 2 (Jinhae, Donghae) were partially locked when applying the RCP 8.5 scenario. In the extreme scenario, even Incheon unit additionally also became nonoperational.

A non-contact 6D motion tracking system is proposed. The system consists of two color cameras, a color image grabber and a host computer. Motions of a floating vessel was measured by the constructed system. The instantaneous forces of the floating vessel are analyzed. The floating vessel was put on the water in a small water container in free conditions. The measured forces are reconstructed by the measurement results. The system can be used to non-contact measurements for 60 dynamic analysis of floating vessels.

Seaweed fulvescens (Capsosiphon fulvescens) is a High-Value-Added food that is highly likely to develop into various forms, such as drying and simple foods. However, the damage to fish farms caused by migratory birds that winter has increased, making it difficult to produce and supply stable. Therefore, in order to solve this problem, this study is to find the most effective sound source and distance to combat migratory birds by connecting sound reproducing device to stationary directional speaker and mobile directional speaker. The elimination effect of the difference in the output size of the two speakers in the same location is compared, analyzed, and a maritime experiment is conducted to suggest the most effective method for eradicating migratory birds.

Analyses on the Hrdroelastic Flow-Structure Interactions on pulsed impinged jet is measured with the FSIMS(Flow-Structure Interaction Measurement System. The measurement system consists of three cameras(1k x 1k), light sources(Ar-ion) and a host computer. The nozzle diameter is D=15㎜ and two major experiments have been carried out for the cases of the distance between the nozzle tip to the elastic wall is 6.0. The pulsed jets were controlled by a solenoid valve and were impinged onto an elastic plate (material: silicon, diameter: 350㎜, thickness: 0.5㎜, hardness: 15). The Reynolds numbers were 20,000 and 24,000 when the jets were impinged with the volume velocities. Experimental results showed that the elastic plate moved slightly to the opposite direction of the jet direction at the time of valve opening. It has been shown that the vortices travelling over the surface of the wall made the elastic wall distorted locally due to a vector forces between rotating forces of the vortex and a newly-incoming flow.

Rapid prototyping (RP) is becoming more important due to the rapid developments in various engineering fields such as manufacturing, designing, architecture engineering, face recognitions and simulation engineering. The usages of the conventional RP machines such as one-camera-one-light-source (laser sheet) system and one-camera-one-laser-range-sensor system have been restricted to certain applications such as strict lighting conditions can be constructed and long time measurements can be made. The developed RP system consisting of two cameras can rapidly produce the three-dimensional shape data for various practical prototypes. The developed system has been applied to produce three-dimensional data of a motorcycle model, which can be used as three-dimensional input data for Computational Fluid Dynamics(CFD).
