        생체전기저항법을 활용한 성인 여성 내장지방 추정법의 유효성

        복부지방, 특히 내장지방의 축적은 이환률과 사망률을 높이는 원인으로 잘 알려져 있고 내장지방은 컴퓨터단층촬영술(CT)로 가장 정확하게 측정되지만 이온화 방사선 노출과 고비용으로 인하여 사용이 제한되어, 일반적으로 생체전기저항법으로 측정된 체지방량으로 내장지방을 대신하는 경우들이 많다. 이에 본 연구는 생체전기저항법으로 측정된 체지방량을 활용하여 내장지방을 추정할 때의 유효성을 확인하고자 68명의 성인 여성을 대상으로 생체전기저항법으로 체지방량을, CT법으로 내장지방량을 측정하였다. 두 가지 측정치 사이에는 통계적으로 유의한(p<.001) 상관관계가 존재하였고 체지방량을 활용한 내장지방량 추정식을 구할 수 있었으며 계통오차가 발생하지 않았다. Receiver operating characteristics curve 결과, 분별점을 8270.6953으로 할 때 유용성이 최대화되는 것으로 나타났다(민감도 75.00%, 특이도 82.14%). 본 연구결과 성인여성에게 있어 생체전기저항법으로 측정된 체지방량을 활용하여 내장지방을 추정하는 방법은 유효한 것으로 판단되나 그 사용에 있어서 민감도와 특이도를 반드시 고려해야 할 것으로 생각된다. It is well established that abdominal obesity, especially deposition of visceral fat, is associated with increased morbidity and mortality. The visceral fat area is most accurately measured using computed tomography (CT). However, exposure to ionizing radiation in CT and the high cost of CT restrict its using. The aims of this study were to determine the efficacy of fat mass measured by bioelectrical impedance analysis (BIA), as a predictor for visceral fat area (VFA) at the umbilicus level. The participants were 68 Korean adult female. Fat mass was measured by the BIA system, and VFA was measured by CT. It was observed that significant correlations for VFA and fat mass (p<.001). An equation using fat mass measured by BIA was obtained, and a systematic error was not found. The cut-off value of VFA, according to the receiver operating characteristics curve, was 8270.6953 ㎟ (sensitivity 75.00%, specificity 82.14%, p<.001). In conclusion, fat mass measured by BIA might be a valid method to predict adult female's VFA at the umbilicus level, if pay attention to sensitivity and specificity.

        운동생리학: 고등학교 태권도 선수와 일반 학생의 무릅관절 등속성 근력에 관한 비교 연구

        The Korean martial sports of full-contact taekwondo has become increasingly popular among adults and children alike. In the present study, isokinetic characteristics of hamstring and quadriceps high school taekwondo athletes ware investigated using Cybex NORM. Twenty four volunteers, who twelve high school taekwondo athletes and twelve high school non athletes were participated. Knee extension and flexion were assessed at angular velocities of 60, 80 and 240 degrees/sec. Taekwondo athletes`s peak torques were significantly higher than those of non athletes in flexion at all angular velocity and left knee extension at 60 degrees/sec. Average power of taekwondo athletes were significantly higher than those of non athletes in flexion at all angular velocity. Average power percent body weight of taekwondo athletes were significantly higher than those of non athletes in flexion at all angular velocity and extension at 60 degrees/sec. Flexor/Extensor ratio of taekwondo athletes were significantly higher than those of normal student in both of flexion and extension at all angular velocity. Angle of peak torque of taekwondo athletes were significantly higher than those of non athletes in right flexion at 180 and 240 degrees/sec. Base on the results of present study, it is suggested that taekwondo athletes must strengthening their extensor for preventing injuries and progressing performance.

        운동영양학 : 인삼복용시 과산화지질과 총항산화능에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study was designed to estimate activation of a Malondialdehyde(MDA) and total antioxidant status(TAS) in human by administration the ginseng for eight weeks. For this purpose, K college students(n=7) was to be tested to a treadmill runing from rest until their entire physical exhaustion. Subject`blood was collected before, immediately after, 10 and 30 minutes after the exercise to be examined. The results of this study can be summarized as follows;1. Malondialdehyde(MDA) were significantly lower than before.2. Total antioxidant status(TAS) were significantly higher than before, Particularly TAS(total antioxidant status) were higher than before that in all-out time.In conclusion, the ginseng was decreased that oxydative stress in all-out time. Therefore, Ginseng was effected by Antioxidants.
