        본 연구는 보건교사의 직무수행의 정도를 파악하여 교원평가 기초자료로 활용할 수 있는 보건교사의 직무수행 평가도구를 개발하기 위해 수행하였다. 본 연구는 학교현장의 직무조사를 바탕으로 예비 직무평가도구를 개발하여 보견교사 520명엥게 E-mail을 통한 조사 및 행정, 건강관리 및 지도, 지역사회 연계활동, 교무분장수행, 보건실관리, 보건사업추진의 7개 영역으로 구성하교, 각각 10개, 9개, 11개, 5개, 3개 ,4개의 평가문하응로 이루어졌다. 내전신뢰도가 Cronbach`s a .946으로 높게 나타났으며, 후속 연구와 학교현장에서의 실질적 검증을 통해 교원평가의 기초자료로 활용되기를 제언한다. This study is conducted to provide various methods for improving the capacity through examining the degree of competency of Korean health teachers and develop the competency evaluation scale of Korean health teachers, which can be used as a basic material for further studies. The competency evaluation scale for Korean health teachers was developed by the verification process of validity verification and reliability on the basis of a draft written through the field status of education, school health act and its enforcement ordinance, and related documents. For this process is to verify validity and reliability of the preliminary evaluation scale, self-assessment questionnaires were sent to Korean health teachers`` email, who work in middle and high schools in K province and then the collected 520 questionnaires were analyzed during 27, May to 2, June, 2010 year. The reliability was carried out by the internal reliability method and split-half reliability, and construct validity was identified by factor analysis and fixed as the competency evaluation scale through examining the results. The results are summarized as follows. For the development of competency evaluation scale for Korean health teachers, in stage 1, evaluation question development stage draws three categories and 76 question, stage 2, preliminary evaluation scale development corrects and modifies them as 3 categories and 50 questions, and stage 3 finally fixes the final evaluation scale composed of 7 categories and 47 questions by verifying and reviewing the preliminary evaluation scale. The final evaluation scale is composed of 7 categories of health subject education, health examination and administration, health management and guidance, local community-related activities, school affairs, health center management, and strategies of health projects. Those categories have 10, 9, 11, 5, 5, 3, 4 questions respectively. In terms of reliability, overall internal reliability is Cronbach``s α .946, and split-half reliability is .949, .943. Therefore, the evaluation scale developed in this study seems to be used practically in schools and hopefully the follow-up study is constantly conducted to develop better competency evaluation scale.

        Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationships among TV involvement, body image concern, restrained eating behavior and self-esteem of middle school students in one city. Methods: A cross-sectional survey design was used. A total of 229 boys and 267 girls enrolled in the middle schools completed self report questionnaire in June, 2009. The data was analyzed by using SPSS/WIN 17.0. Results: Of boys, 24.5% was over-weight/obese while 12.7% of girls was over-weight/obese. Compared to boys, girls involved more in TV (p<.001), and showed more body image concern, and restrained eating behavior (p<.001), but had lower self-esteem (p=.020). A significant positive correlation between TV involvement and body image concern was found in both boys and girls. However, only girls showed a negative association between TV involvement and self-esteem, and as well as between restrained eating behavior and self-esteem. As grouped by BMI, both boys and girls showed significantly different scores in restrained eating behavior (p<.001). Conclusion: These results suggest that the increased number of obese young adolescent need a weight management program including control for unhealthy eating behavior. The influence of mass-media on distorted body image for adolescents should be corrected. Also, an intervention for young obese girls to promote their self-esteem needs to be developed.
