The primary concern in designing any PV system is the determination of its optimum size. It is generally inadequate to use monthly or daily average insolation, and estimated number of continuous no sun days to determine array and battery capacities because the dynamic behavior of PV system and the stochastic nature of solar radiation also significantly influence the required array and storage capacity. Simulation method uses hourly meterological data and hourly load data to simulate the energy flow in a PV system, and predicts the system reliabilities under assumed array and battery size. This paper choose the loss of load hours as the system reliability index, and considers a residential system which consumes 2 kwh of electricity per day, as a case study. The meteorological data for the simulation are on data in Korea.

This paper is a study about Ac servo motor position and speed control characteristics which depend on feedforward control, the acceleration / deceleration time constant after the interpolation, and PI control, automatic deceleration at comer in order to shape cutting control of feed drive system of the machine tool The shape error caused by delay of the servo system in the direction of radius at the time of circular cutting is reduced by feedforward control. The shape error generated by the position command delay is minimized by using the acceleration / deceleration time constant after the interpolation. The results were verified to optimization of feed drive system by a vertical machining center experimentation of the machine tool.<br/> <br/>
