Purpose: This study examined the level of students`` anxiety depending on the injection type, education methods, and the students`` characteristics. Methods: 209 first year nursing students were randomly assigned to each group by three factors -injection methods, video watching, and number of practice. Injection methods had two levels (IV and IM). Video watching also had also two levels (video watching and non-watching group). And the number of practice had 4 levels according to number of practice (2, 4, 6, and 8 times). The video watching group was watching 30 minutes video before manikin practice. After 5 to 15 minutes of manikin practice, the sufficiency of practice and the level of anxiety were measured. The data were analyzed by t-test and one way ANOVA. Results: The anxiety of the IV practice was higher than that of IM. The students who have experiences of working at hospital or the similar institution were lower in anxiety. The higher self-confident in sufficiency of practice lowered the students`` anxiety. But watching video and the number of practices had no effects on the level of anxiety. Conclusion: To effectively lower the anxiety of nursing students in the nursing practice education, lecture methods and education tools are needed to develop.
캄보디아 간호대학생들의 간호사 이미지, 이미지 결정요인, 자아존중감 사이의 관계 모형 구축

Purpose: This study, on the basis of a structural model that includes nurse image, image determinants, and self-esteem of Cambodian nursing students influenced by the Korean nursing education system, demonstrates distinctions between senior and junior according to experience in clinical practice. Methods: Data were collected via a questionnaire from 194 nursing students in Cambodia and subsequently analyzed using the STATA IC 12 program. Results: First, image determinants and their sub-factors?subjective, institutional, and media-effect both the nurse image and self-esteem of nursing students. Second, the study confirms that nurse image has no significant effect on self-esteem. Also, the individual factor, a sub-factor of nurse image, possesses a weak relationship with nurse image. Third, the structural model mediating between senior and junior reveals differences resulting from experiences derived from clinical practice. Conclusion: The study has significance in that Cambodian nursing students, who are rarely studied in terms of nurse image, have been systemically analyzed via a structural model incorporating image determinants and self-esteem.
간호대학생의 임상실습과 관련된 언어적 폭력 경험 및 대처방식

목적: 본 연구는 간호 대학생을 통해서 언어적 폭력 경험의 의미와 본질을 밝히고 보다 이해를 도모함으로써 효율적인 대처전략을 개발하기 위한 기초자료를 제공하고자 시도되었다. 연구방법: 현상 학적 연구방법을 사용하였다. 연구대상자는 본 연구의 참여를 허락하고 서면 동의서에 동의한 모든 임상실습을 모두 마친 간호학과 3학년 대학생 11명을 대상으로 하였다. 자료수집방법은 연구 참여자의 경험을 보다 깊이 있게 확인하고자 심층 면담을 자료 수집 방법으로 사용하였다. Colaizzi의 현상 학적 방법으로 분석하였다 연구결과: 자료를 분석한 결과 4개의 범주, 9개의 주제모음, 19개의 의미 있는 진술을 도출하였다. 경험은충족되지 못한 현재로부터 벗어나기 위해 시작됨’, ‘뜻하지 않게 닥친 선택의 기로에서 갈등함’,학생으로서 역할 찾아가기‘,힘든 상황을 극복하기 위한 노력‘으로 범주화 되었다. 연구결과를 바탕으로 임상실습을 통해서 언어적 폭력 경험 후에 간호 대학생을 위한 상담 프로그램 개발에 기여할 것으로 기대한다. Purpose: This research aims to understand the meaning and essence of the experiences of verbal abuse and effective coping method of nursing students when they were doing clinical practice Methods: The study method used phenomenological study method. Participants were eleven college students in third grade who had completed all the clinical practice that agreed to the written consent of the researchers. Data were collected by one-on-one interviews until the point of theoretical saturation and analyzed by Colaizzi`s phenomenological method Results: The results show that 4-category, 9-concept, and 19-subcategory. The three categories `onset as an escape from the unfulfilling reality`,`conflict upon unexpected choice situation‘,`search for the best students role',`the effort to overcome difficulty‘. Conclusion: Based on the findings of this study, the support of counseling program development for the nursing students after experiencing verbal abuse must be important considered.
