코로나 이전 국내 면세산업은 2000년 이후 관광 수요의 증가와 함께 꾸준한 성장세를 보였다. 급증한 수요에 대응하기 위해 면세점들은 매출액 위주의 경쟁전략을 유지해왔으며, 이에 따라 효율적인 운영보다는 규모 측면의 성장을 위한 방안 수립에만 집중해왔다. 기존 연구에서는 면세상품 관련 마케팅이나 제도적 지원방안 수립에 관한 연구가 주를 이루었으며 실제 운영단계인 물류 관리 측면에서의 연구는 부족했다. 이에 본 연구에서는 면세점 운영의 효율성 향상을 위한 적정재고 수립 방식을 제시하기 위해 출국자 예측모형과 장래 상품 판매량을 선형회귀방정식을 활용하였다. 이와 더불어, 실증연구를 통해 본 정책을 도입할 때 기대효과를 비용적 측면과 현장 운영 측면에서 분석하였다. 본 연구 결과를 바탕으로 면세점에서 발생하는 과다재고문제를 진단하고 공급주기를 개선함으로써 비용 절감 및 생산성 향상이 가능할 것으로 예상된다. The duty-free industry before COVID-19 has continuously grown since 2000, along with the increase of demand in tourism industry. To cope with the increased demand, the duty free companies have kept the strategies which focused on the sales volume. Therefore, they have developed the ways to increase the volume and capacity, not the efficient operations. In the most of previous research, however, authors have proposed the better strategies for marketing and supporting policies. It is very hard to find the previous research which dealt with the operations like logistics and inventory management. Therefore, in this study, it has been predicted the future demand of frequently purchased items in airport duty free shops based on the estimated number of departing passengers by the linear regression, which concluded with the appropriate inventory level. In addition, it has been analyzed the expected effects by introducing the inventory management policy considering the cost and efficiency of operations. Based on the results of this study, it may be possible to reduce total cost and improve productivity by predicting the excessive inventory problems at duty-free shops and improving cycles of supplying items.

The main structures that comprise a tidal power plant are turbine structure, sluice structure, tide embankment and gate. Since these structures are founded on seabed ground, an extensive geotechnical site investigation to evaluate the engineering properties of field soils must be conducted prior to design and construction. According to the results of geotechnical site investigation conducted at the planned site for construction of Incheon bay tidal power plant, soft ground generally lie 7 meters below the seabed surface level. This research suggests the reliable and economical design of foundations and ground improvements required for construction of main structures in Incheon bay tidal power plant, with considerations on field conditions.
