This study had been intended to provide the experimentally based data for predicting the failure behavior of prestressed concrete containment wall in nuclear power plant from two phase failure tests. Tensile failure tests for liner plate including groove weld were planned to investigate the ductile behavior and the failure mode. As analyzing stress-strain relationship, it was experimentally verified that liner part just near transverse weld line woud be restrained in longitudinal direction, therefore nominal parts finally tore rather than HAZ. Another tensile tests for full-scale prestressed concrete wall model were carried out to investigate a cracking behavior and failure mode, and to propose a stress-strain relationship of concrete while considering liner steel.

FBG 변형률센서를 이용한 현수교의 정적 처짐형상 추정

교량구조물의 안전성 평가에 있어서 처짐형상을 측정하는 것은 매우 중요한 요소이다. 그러나 교량의 처짐을 측정하는 작업은 일반적으로 용이하지 않으며, 경우에 따라서 측정점이 제한되거나 많은 비용이 소요된다. 따라서 최근에 광섬유 변형률 센서를 이용한 교량의 처짐형상을 간접적으로 추정하는 연구가 진행되고 있으나 단순지지 형식의 교량에 주로 적용되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 현수교의 고전적인 처짐이론을 적용하여 측정된 변형률로부터 처짐형상을 추정하는 기법을 제시하였으며, 이에 대한 검증을 위하여 남해대교를 대상으로 현장 재하시험을 수행하였다. 남해대교 보강형 내부에 부착한 FBG 변형률센서를 이용하여 변형률을 계측하였으며, 제안한 추정기법을 적용하여 얻어진 처짐형상을 정밀측량데이터 및 구조해석결과와 비교분석하였다. 결과적으로 본 연구에서 제안한 현수교 처짐형상 추정기법의 적용가능성을 검증하였으며, FBG 변형률센서의 현장 적용성을 확인하였다. For most structural evaluation of bridge integrity, it is very important to measure the geometric profile, which is a major factor representing the global behavior of civil structures, especially bridges. In the past, because of the lack of appropriate methods to measure the deflection profile of bridges on site, the measurement of deflection has been restricted to just a few discrete points along the bridge, and the measuring points have been limited to the locations installed with displacement transducers. Thus, some methods for predicting the static deflection by using fiber optic strain sensors has been applied to simply supported bridges. In this study, a method of estimating the static deflection profile by using strains measured from suspension bridges was proposed. Based on the classical deflection theory of suspension bridges, an equation of deflection profile was derived and applied to obtain the actual deflection profile on Namhae suspension bridge. Field load tests were carried out to measure strains from FBG strain sensors attached inside the stiffening girder of the bridge. The predicted deflection prof ties were compared with both precise surveying data and numerical analysis results. Thus, it is found that the equation of predicting the deflection profiles proposed in this study could be applicable to suspension bridges and the FBG strain sensors could be reliable on acquiring the strain data from bridges on site.

As the volume of traffic in southern part of the republic of Korea grew, expansion of transportation was required. In that purpose, the railway between Samnangjin and Gwangyang is being extended to a double-track line. This construction includes Nakdong bridge located across Nakdong river. This truss bridge is constructed in incremental launching method (ILM) and composed of two sections, straight line and curved one. Bridge construction in the method goes with the shift of roller supports which results in the change of structural system. To accomplish safe construction, the measurement during the whole launching stages. The locations of member in severe condition and the corresponding response values were estimated through the preliminary construction stage analysis. Based on the analysis, the measurement during construction was planned. Several sensors and measurement devices were installed at appropriate locations. During the whole launching stages, the measurement was performed and the corresponding data were monitored and stored in real time. The comparison of the responses from the analysis and the measurement showed no indication of yielding of the structural members. Consequently, the construction of Nakdong bridge was concluded to be relevant.
