Chlorination to polluted water can produce chlorocompounds which may impair human health. It has been discussed that chlorophenols would be one of undesirable substances in drinking water. This study was undertaken to investigate the production mehanism of chlorophenols by chlorination in the disinfection of water and to determine pollution levels of phenols as precursor of chlorophenols and chloropbenols in some sewage, stream water and tap water in the vicinity of Seoul from January to September, 1979. By chlorination with hyperchlorite to phenols in distilled water, o-cbloropherol was predominantly produced at the concentration of less than 1Oppm of free chlorine. o-Chlorophenol, 2,6-dichlorophenol and 2,4-dichlorophenol were also produced by chlorination with the concenration from 20 to 100ppm of free chlorine. From the concentration of 100ppm of free chlorine to 200ppm, o-Chlorophenol was vanished and 2,6-dichlorophenol and 2,4-dichlorophenol were determined. Phenols originated from night soil, municipal sewage and stream were determined at 49.15ppm. 0.095ppm and 0.003ppm in average respectively. About 87 and 88 percent of phenols in sewage and night soil were biodegradated by aeration for 10 days and 74 and 51 percent of phenols in senwage and night soil by spontaneous settling for 10 days. From the tap water in Seoul during summer, 1979, chlorophenols were identified; they were average 0.042 ppb of o-chlorophenol, 0.033 ppb of 2,6-dichlorophenol and 0.003 ppb of 2.4-dichlorophenol respectively. With the above result and discussion, it is considered that cblorophenols should be controlled from the source as well as chlorination in water purification.

바이오센서 분야는 생체물질의 신호를 금속 전극을 통해 측정하여, 질병 마커의 검출이나, 환경 신호의 측정, 신호의 전자소자에의 응용 등을 주로 다루고 있다. 생체신호는 신호의 강도가 낮고, 외부 환경 변화에 따른 신호 편차로 인해 정밀한 측정이 어려워, 이를 개선하기 위해 다양한 연구들이 진행되고 있다. 구조적으로 불안정하고, 나노 수준의 크기를 갖는 생체물질의 신호를 측정하기 위해 금속 전극을 나노 수준으로 가공한 나노 구조체를 제작 및 활용하려는 다양한 연구가 있었으며, 본 연구에서는 특히 나노패터닝 기술을 활용한 전극 제작과 관련한 다양한 기술 및 연구결과를 소개하고, 향후 연구 방향에 대한 전망을 제시하고자 한다. The field of biosensors have mainly focused on the detection of disease markers, measurement of environmental signals, and application of signals to electronic devices by measuring signals of biological materials through metal electrodes. Bio-signals have low signal strength and, are difficult to accurately measure due to signal deviations according to the changes in external environments so that various studies have been conducted to improve them. There have been various studies to fabricate and utilize nanostructures processed with nano-level metal electrodes to measure signals of biological materials that are structurally unstable and have nano-level sizes. In this study, in particular, various technologies and research results related to electrode fabrication using nanopatterning technology are introduced, and prospects for future research directions are presented.
단마 ( Dioscorea aimadoimo ) 의 열풍건조 시 갈변 억제 방안 연구

This research was conducted to investigate the effective methods for browning inhibition on yam (Dioscorea aimadoimo) during dehydration by physical and chemical pretreatments. Moisture, crude protein, crude fiber and N-free extract contents of yam were 81.17%, 1.43%, 0.29% and 15.81%, respectively. Yams were sliced to 0.5 ㎝ thickness and placed to singles and poly layer in plastic tray, and then changes of their weights were measured during air dehydration at 50℃, 65℃ and 80℃. The dehydration time reaching to optimum moisture level for the pulverization of the yam slices were 10, 6, 3 hours(single layered) and 12, 7, 5 hours(multi layered) at the respective temperature. To inhibit browning at 80℃ air dehydration, water and steam blanching, microwave treatment effects were investigated on yam slices for 30 sec. and 60 sec. Steam blanching for 30 sec. was comparatively effective to inhibit browning of yam slices. Yam slices were immersed in single and combined browning inhibitor solutions and evaluated for browing degree during dehydration by the values of Hunter L, a, b and △E. The most effective pretreatment to inhibit browning of yam slices was immersion in the solution containing 500 ppm of citric acid and 1000 ppm of cysteine for 1 min.
다문화 사회를 위한 골로새서의 통전적 읽기와 신학적 주제

It is very important to realize that Korea is mow a multi-cultural society with a lot of potential problems. This study aims to find a solution to the problems from the letter to the Colossians that was composed for the churches in a similar multi-cultural society. In consideration of the hermeneutical development in the biblical scholarship, this study takes the world before the text as well as the world(s) behind and within the text into the consideration in order to understand the theological theme of the Colossians and to shed new light on the multi-cultural society of Korea. In the face of the Colossian problems which have been caused by the multi-cultural environment, Paul emphasizes the immanence of Jesus Christ in all the creature throughout his letter (1:19-20;2:9-10;3:11). Furthermore, Paul suggests a Christian version of the Household Code(3:18-4:1), which is not totally different from the Roman secular version. The Household Code suggests to the Colossians that they serve each other with a totally different motivation. As a solution to the problems, Paul reminds his audience of the fact that “Christ is all and in all” and all serve each other “in Him, to Him, and for Him.” This paper intends Korean Christian readers to change their attitude toward the multi-cultural society and community with the help of the Colossian theological theme: serving each other in Him, to Him, and for Him on the basis of the belief in Jesus` immanence.
