공공도서관 사서의 라키비움에 대한 인식 연구: 인천광역시를 중심으로

The purpose of this study was especially to find out the recognition and necessity of establishing Larchiveum, the ways of building Larchiveum, the prerequisites when building Larchiveum, the expected effect in Larchiveum for enhancing the role of public libraries, that are the representative cultural organizations in local, around Incheon metropolitan city where many changes from the past to the present happened through cultural heritages and long history. To accomplish this purpose, we conducted a survey about the Larchiveum recognition targeting 114 librarians in public libraries in Incheon area with use of analysis on realizing similar services to Larchiveum in public libraries of Incheon and IBM SPSS Statistics version 21. As a result, a library that implements the Larchiveum similar services were 13 libraries. The results from a Larchiveum recognition survey of 114 librarians who work in Incheon public libraries were as follows. First, more than half of librarians answering the survey question about ‘Larchiveum’ term were simply told about the term but were not defining an accurate concept.
