슬래그시멘트 초기강도 증진을 위한 자극제로서 CFBC Fly ash의 활용연구

환경오염 저감을 위해 순환유동층 보일러를 활용한 발전이 증가함에 따라 CFBC 플라이애시가 많이 생산되고 있다. CFBC 플라이애시내는 수화반응 중 시멘트의 팽창과 급격한 초기응결을 발생시킬 수 있는 free CaO를 포함하고 있기 때문에 콘크리트에서의 사용이 제한적이다. 본 연구에서는 고로슬래그시멘트의 초기강도 증진을 위해 CFBC 플라이애시와 인산석고와 같이 혼합함으로서 천연석고를 대체하는 자극제로 활용하고자 하기 위하여 미세구조와 초기강도 특성을 실험적으로 분석하였다. 인산석고는 배면탈황석고와 인산중화석고를 사용하였으며, 이수상태와 무수상태로 각각 혼합하여 실험하였다. 실험결과 CFFA와 dihydrate 형태의 이수석고를 혼합하는 경우에는 상대적으로 초기강도 발현이 낮아지나, CFFA와 anhydriteII 결정형태인 무수인산석고를 혼합한 배합의 강도 증진효과가 천연석고를 사용한 경우와 유사하여 혼합시멘트로 활용 가능성이 높은 것으로 분석되었다. As the circulating fluidized bed combustor(CFBC) boilers system to generate electric power increase in order to reduce environmental pollution, a lot of CFBC fly ashes(CFFA) are produced. CFFA has limited use in concrete because it contains free CaO, which can cause cement expansion and rapid initial hydration. In this study, the microstructure and the initial development of compressive strength characteristics were experimentally analyzed to be used as a stimulant to replace natural gypsum by mixing with CFFA and phosphate gypsum to enhance the initial strength of portland blast furnace slag cement. The recycled gypsum was used as flue-gas desulfurization gypsum and phosphate gypsum. Experimental results show that the initial strength development is relatively lower when CFFA and dihydrate gypsum are mixed, but the strength improvement effect of the mixture with CFFA and anhydrous gypsum as an anhydritedII typed crystalized gypsum is similar to t hat of natural gypsum. As a result, it w as analyzed to have high possibility of use for stimulant of portland blast furnace slag cement.
망개떡의 저장성 향상을 위한 청미래덩굴 뿌리 추출물의 첨가

The antimicrobial activities of Smilax china L. against spoilage bacteria isolated from Mang-gae rice cake were investigated and the storage stability of the Mang-gae rice cake was enhanced. Spoilage bacteria, which cause Mang-gae rice cake to rot, were isolated from commercial Mang-gae rice cake, and most of the isolated strains were identified as Bacillus sp. After the leaves, roots, shoots, and stalks of the Smilax china L. were extracted using 50% ethanol as the solvent, their antimicrobial activities were investigated using the paper disc method by treating them with 50 μL of Bacillus cereus, which is known as a major pathogenic micro-organism in foods that contain starch, as the test organism. The antimicrobial activities of the extracts were compared according to the size of the clear zones around the paper discs. The root extract showed significant antimicrobial activities. When red beans, which are used as stuffing for Mang-gae rice cake, were treated with the root extract of the Smilax china L., the viable cell count of the Mang-gae rice cake was 5.04 Log CFU/g after 48-hr storage, and the cake showed significantly slower growth of bacteria than with commercial products. These results show that treatment of red beans with Smilax china root extract could improve the storage stability of Mang-gae rice cake.
열처리를 통한 HgSe 나노입자 기반 박막 트랜지스터의 전기적 특성 향상

본 연구에서는, PVA를 게이트 유전체로 이용하여 백 게이트 (back-gate) 구조의 HgSe 나노입자 박막트랜지스터를 플라스틱 기판위에 제작하였다. 제작된 박막트랜지스터는 에서 5분 동안의 열처리 과정을 통하여 이동도 /Vs, 전류 점멸비 의 우수한 특성을 나타내었다. 열처리에 따른 표면 거칠기의 감소가 소자의 전기적 특성향상의 원인이라는 것을 AFM 이미지를 통하여 확인 할 수 있었다. 0.6%의 strain을 기판에 인가하면서 기판의 휘어짐에 따른 전류변화를 관찰하였다. In this study, we fabricated the HgSe nanoparticle-based thin film transistors (TFTs) of back gate structure with PVA gate dielectric. The fabricated TFTs show the improved electrical characteristics in the mobility of /Vs and the on/off ratio of after annealing process at for 5 min. AFM images demonstrate that the decrease in surface roughness according to annealing process leads to the improvement of electrical characteristics. The change in drain current caused from the conditions of flexible substrate is investigated under 0.6% strain.
지속성 외래 복막투석 환자에서 영양상태와 투석의 적절도

Purpose - Malnutrition is common in CAPD patients and depends on many factors such as dialysis-related and nondialysis-related factors. The present study aimed to assess nutritional status, dialysis adequacy and their relationships with overall mortality and morbidity. Methods - We studied 102 patients who had been receiving CAPD for at least 6 months. Dialysis adequacy was assessed by parameters derived from urea kinetic modeling(UKM) and nutritional status was assessed by serum biochemical measurement, normalized protein catabolic rate(nPCR), normalized protein equvalent of total nitrogen appearance(nPNA) and urea kinetic studies. Spearman's simple correlation and multiple linear stepwise regression analysis were used to assess correlation between dialysis adequacy and nutritional status in CAPD patients. We compared the differences between patients who suffered morbid events, defined as either an infectious complication or hospitalization, and patients who remained well. Results : The results showed that the total dialysis dose(total weekly Kt/Vurea ) has statistically significant correlation with nPCR(r=0.234, p=0.028), nPNA (r=0.246, p=0.021), total weekly creatinine clearance (WCC)(r=0.479, p=0.0001), serum albumin levels(r= 0.233, p=0.029), serum cholesterol(r=0.266, p=0.013), serum BUN(r=-0.290, p=0.006) and serum creatinine levels(r=-0408, p-0.0001). nPNA was positively correlated with serum cholesterol(r=0.217, p=0.045), serum transferrin(r=0.218, p=0.042) and serum ferritin levels(r=0.220, p=0.043). Patients who suffered morbid events had an old age(p=0.001), long duration of CAPD(p=0.0001), higher CRP(p=0.021), lower serum albumin level(p=0.020), lower hematocrit(p=0.049) and lower WCC(p=0.017). Conclusions: These results indicate that adequate dialysis is very important for the maintenance of adequant nutrition because nutritional status positively correlated with dialysis dose, which is best assessed by UKM. In addition, assessment of nutritional status and dialysis adequacy are important in predicting clinical outcomes in CAPD patients.
유리섬유의 특성이 열가소성 복합재료의 기계적 성질에 미치는 영향

This study has been performed to investigate the effects of glass fiber characteristics on the mechanical properties of thermoplastic composite. The surface of glass fiber was coated with the silan e to enhance the bonding strength between fiber and matrix. A micro-droplet pull-off test was performed to investigate the influence of the silane concentration on the bonding strength. The maximum bonding strength was observed around 10.8% silane concentration. In order to examine the influence of the fiber length and fiber content on the properties of the composite, the composite materials involving tile fiber lengths of 5mm, 10mm, 15mm 20mm, and 25mm were tested. The composites used contain 20%, 30%, and 40% by weight of glass fibers. Tension and flexural tests were performed to investigate their mechanical properties of the composites. The tensile strength and tensile modulus of the composite increase with increasing the glass fiber content. The tensile modulus increases slightly with increasing the fiber length. The maximum tensile strength is observed around the fiber length of 15-20mm. The flexural modulus and strength also increase slightly with increasing the fiber length.

In this study, we fabricate resistive switching random access memory (ReRAM) devices constructed with a Al/$HfO_2$/ITO structure on glass substrates and investigate their memory characteristics. The hafnium oxide thin film used as a resistive switching layer is sputtered at room temperature in a sputtering system with a cooling unit. The Al/$HfO_2$/ITO device exhibits bipolar resistive switching characteristics, and the ratio of the high resistance (HRS) to low resistance states (LRS) is more than 60. In addition, the resistance ratio maintains even after $10^4$ seconds.
