In this study, various types of Jumchi Hanji were made to develop shroud materials as a new use for Hanji. The properties of Hanji (basis weight, thickness, apparent density, bulk, tensile strength, wet tensile strength, elongation ratio, tear strength, bursting strength, and folding endurance) are measured. In all cases, Jumchi Hanji had a higher thickness, lower apparent density and higher bulk than Hanji because pores inthe intervals of mulberry fiber are composed of bulk. So, it is considered to carry a value as a textile material. As for the results of the strength analysis of Jumchi Hanji, Jumchi technique enhances 25% of elongationratio, which is regarded the most important role in textiles and 35% of bulk. Moreover, it was shown that it enhanced overall strength. In conclusion, it implies the possibility of applying it as a shroud material. Jumchi Hanji is thought to have enough potential to be developed as a material to carry the characteristics of Hanji in the textile market.
수의[壽衣]현황 및 한지수의[韓紙壽衣]디자인 방향에 관한 연구

This study researches the current status of shrouds and analyzes the current status of the Hanji shrouds and sets its goal on suggesting the direction for a futuristic shroud design, suitable for the changing funeral culture. For this, the characteristics of traditional shrouds were studied, standard shrouds` and Hanji shrouds` current statuses were researched and analyzed to suggest the development diretion for design of Hanji shrouds. The results of the research showed that the Hanji shrouds are superior in cremation and burial, and the design expressions were more effective. Also the previously established shrouds were shown to have an increase in value through use of different materials, changing designs through various patterns, or through the added symbolic value. Thus the direction of shroud development designs based on the advantages of Hanji have been drawn out to as follows: First, traditional shrouds used the ceremonial dresses, such as official uniforms or wedding dresses, from the Tang dynasty which made it multicolored. Afterwards colors were limited with the use of hemp clothes shrouds but with the appearance of Hanji shrouds, the possibility for mulitcolors and patterns became larger. Second, Hanji is superior in its expression of colors and patterns, making designs with symbolic sides such as religion possible, to meet the demands of the customers. Third, Hanji shrouds are more environmentaly friendly than the standard shrouds in cremation and burial, and it presents a much better image of shrouds for the future society. Such development of Hanji shrouds design developments satisfies the distinct and gentrified demands of the customers and it looks to be able to suggest an opportunity for environmentaly friendly actions while preparing itself for the chaning market demands and values.

Generally, the conventional fish size grading methods just adopt the mechanical technique. So the grading methods have a problem such that the graded fish is easy to hurt on the skin and in the internal organs. In this paper, a fish size grading machine is developed using an image processing method. The grading method is based on the principal axis theorem. The length and projected area of a fish are obtained by getting the principal axis and the product of inertia moment on the captured image of a target fish. The developed machine uses an uncontact technique that the target fishes go through the front side of the CCD camera. So the above stated problem can be improved. The performance of this method is discussed with the experimental results.

Woven sisal textile fiber reinforce composites are used to evaluates fracture toughness, tensile and three point bending. All specimens are producted that were repeated water absorption on five times and aged 400 day in this study. Two kind of polymer matrices such as epoxy and vinyl-ester are used. Fractured surface are taken to study the failure mechanism and fiber matrix interfacial adhesion. It is shown that in can be enhanced to improve their mechanical performance to reveal the relationship between fracture toughness and water absorption fatigue according to different polymer matrices.

In this study, quantitative ground vibration values and damping coefficient produced by underwater blasting were measured and analyzed. Also, hydrospace noise in aquafarm and noise in atmosphere as well as ground vibrations were measured, and maximum values of these results were 86,8 dB(A), 147,8dB(A), 0.244 cm/s, respectively, With these results, vibration influence about snakehead (channa argus) and structures were examined. the damage of those was proved that is not. Equations of vibration ($V_{50%}=1.507SD^{-0.536},\;V_{95%}=2,171SD^{-0.536}$) and hydrospace noise ($SL=293.2SD^{-0.164}$) were presented from quantitative experiment results. respectively. The results of the study may be applied for the evaluation of the influence on aquafarm as a basic data before having main underwater blasting at construction sites.
