In this study, we investigated the NOx reduction characteristics by pulverized coal reburning via drop tube furnace(DTF). Each experiment was conducted with different reaction temperature and equivalence ratio. It is observed that the NOx reduction became larger as reaction temperature and the equivalence ratio increases, respectively. Especially when equivalence ratio of pulverized coal is 1.5, NOx conversion efficiency of such coal increased to 80% with increasing reaction temperature. This is attributed to the enhanced reactions of fixed carbon with NOx at high temperature.
