        소방공무원의 방화두건 제작을 위한 머리 치수 연구

        Firefighting hoods protect the head, face, and neck areas of officials while they perform firefighting services. The purpose of this study is to investigate the head size of Korean firefighting officials in order to establish the dimensions necessary to construct firefighting hoods. A total of 98 male firefighting officials participated in this study and 11 body dimensions, necessary for the construction of firefighting hoods, were measured. The data collected from the firefighting officials were compared to the general adult male data from the Size Korea national anthropometric study. The heights, weights, head circumferences, head heights, and bitragion arcs of the firefighters were significantly larger than those of general adult males, which shows that firefighting officials generally have larger body and head sizes than general adult males. Based on the results of Pearson's correlation coefficients, head circumference and head height were judged to be the important measurements for the construction of the firefighting hoods. Thus, these two measurements were chosen as the basic dimensions of the cross tabulation analysis. As a result, head circumferences of 57.00~60.99cm and head heights of 23.00~25.99 cm were found to be important measurement ranges among the firefighters. This study is expected to be used as the basis for the creation of firefighting hoods that help to ensure the safe rescue activities for firefighting officials.

      • 주요 침엽수종의 수관층 연료특성 분석

        본 연구 목적은 우리나라 주요 침엽수종을 대상으로 국립산림과학원에서 개발된 바이오매스추정식과 제 5차 국가산림자원조사 자료를 활용하여 수관층 연료특성 분석하고자 하였다. 본 연구결과, 수관연료밀도(kg/m³)는 잣나무가 가장 높고, 강원지방소나무, 곰솔, 리기다소나무, 중부지방소 나무 일본잎갈나무 순 이었으며(0.090-0.340 kg/m³), 지하고(m)의 경우 일본잎갈나무가 가장 높고, 강원지방소나무, 잣나무, 중부지방소나무, 리기다소나무, 곰솔 순 이었다(4.81-5.19 m). 임분단위 수관 연료량 추정식 모형의 조정결정계수(R2(adj))는 0.6321∼0.9950, 지하고 추정식 모형의 조정결정계수 (R2(adj)는 0.6390∼0.8536의 범위를 보였다. The objective of this study was to assess the canopy and fuel characteristics of five major coniferous species in Korea. The allometric equations for the canopy fuel load and canopy based height of major conifer species was estimated based on the biomass allometric equation developed by the Korea Forest Research Institute using the data from the 5th National Forest Inventory. Among the major coniferous species, Pinus koraiensis had the highest mean canopy bulk density, followed by Gangwon region Pinus densiflora, Pinus thunbergii, Pinus rigida, Central region Pinus densiflora and Larix leptolepis in decreasing order (0.340-0.090 kg/m3). In terms of mean canopy base height, highest value was recorded from Larix leptolepis, followed by Gangwon region Pinus densiflora, Pinus koraiensis, Central region Pinus densiflora, Pinus rigida, and Pinus thunbergii was the lowest (4.81-5.19 m). The adjusted multiple coefficient of determination of the developed models ranged from 0.6321 to 0.9950 for canopy fuel load and 0.6390 to 0.8539 for canopy base height.

        해안형과 내륙 곰솔림의 산불 연료특성 비교

        본 연구에서는 곰솔을 해안형과 내륙형으로 구분하여 지표층 및 수관층 연료의 특성을 파악하고, 수관화 전이 및 확산 위험성을 비교하였다. 분석을 위하여 해안형, 내륙형별로 지표층 연료를 각 25 Sample씩 채취하였으며, 수관층 연료는 각 10본씩 표본목을 벌채하여 분석하였다. 본 연구 결과에 의하면, 지표층 수분함량은 내륙형 곰솔이 다소 높게 나타났으나, 수관층 수분함량은 두 유형간 유사하였다. 전체 수관층 연료에서 잎이 차지하는 비율은 내륙형 곰솔(42.7%)이 해안형 곰솔(33.8%)에 비해 높았으며, 수관화 발생 시 연소가능한 연료의 비율은 내륙형 곰솔이 59.2%로 해안형 곰솔의 57.2%에 비해 다소 높게 나타났다. 수관층에 대한 연료량 추정식의 조정결정계수는 1 cm 이상의 굵은 가지를 제외하고 모두 0.800 이상이었다. 임분단위 연소가능한 수관연료밀도를 분석한 결과, 내륙형 곰솔이 수관체적 공간이 협소함에도 그 안에 포함된 연료량이 많아 해안형에 비해 1.29배 높은 수치를 보였다. The objective of this study were to analyze the characteristics of surface and crown fuel and to compare the hazard of crown fire transition and spread in the Costal type Pinus thunbergii and Inland type Pinus thunbergii. 25 surface fuel of each type were sampled and 10 trees of each type were destructively sampled to analyze crown fuel characteristic. The results of this study showed that the Inland type has higher surface moisture content due to the difference in crown cover, although the two types showed similar crown moisture content. Inland type (42.7%) has more crown needles than Coastal type (33.8%). The ratio of available crown fuel was 59.2% of Inland type and 57.2% of Coastal type. The adjusted coefficients of determination (R²adj) values were high (more than 0.850) or more except for thick branches of more than 1cm. The available canopy bulk density of Inland type was 1.29 times higher despite the smaller canopy volume.

        소방공무원의 장갑제작을 위한 손 치수 연구

        This study measured and analyzed male firefighters hand sizes as well as suggested data for developing firefighting gloves with a good fit. Accordingly, body dimensions related to the hand were measured for 100 male firefighters. Twenty-three measuring items related to the hand and lower arm were selected. The firefighters' measurement data were compared to general adult male measurements from the 6th Korean Anthropometric data to analyze the hand sizes characteristics of firefighters. As a result, height, hand circumference, hand breadth, wrist circumference, elbow-wrist length, forearm-fingertip length and firefighter weight were significantly larger than adult males. A correlation analysis for 23 items was conducted to select items used as standards for setting a size when manufacturing firefighting gloves. Hand length and circumference were selected as representative hand parts for making firefighting gloves. Cross analysis between hand length and circumference were conducted to find the section showing the highest distribution ratio. As a result, the highest sections were between 19cm and 21cm for hand circumference and between 18.5cm and 19.5cm for hand length, which may be suggested as the most important ranges.

      • 충남지역 상수리나무의 바이오매스 확장계수와 상대생장식

        본 연구는 줄기밀도와 바이오매스 확장계수를 조사 분석하고 상대생장식을 유도함으로써 바이오매스 추정에 대한 정보를 제공하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 연구대상지는 충남지역의 대표 활엽수종인 상수리나무 임분을 대상으로 하였고, 총 15본의 표본목을 벌채하여 분석에 이용하였다. 본 연구결과, 상수리나무림의 줄기밀도(g/cm3)는 0.496∼0.825으로 나타났으며, 뿌리를 굴취한 9본의 임목전체 바이오매스 확장계수는 1.364∼2.403으로 나타났다. 흉고직경(D)을 독립변수로 하는 대수회귀식을이용하여 상대생장식을 유도한 결과 흉고직경이 증가함에 따라 바이오매스량이 증가하는 패턴을 보 였다. 임목전체의 조정결정계수(R2adj)는 0.982로 높은 값이 나왔고, 부위별 지상부, 줄기, 뿌리의 조정 결정계수(R2 adj)는 0.950 이상으로 나타난 반면에 잎과 가지의 조정결정계수(R2adj)는 0.655, 0.856 으로 다소 낮게 나타났다. The objective of this study was to determine the stem density, biomass expansion factor and biomass of Quercus acutissima stands in Chungcheongnam-do, South Korea. A total of fifteen representative trees were destructively sampled for data collection and stem analysis. The results showed that stem density (g/cm3) of Quercus acutissima stands vary from 0.496 to 0.825. The total biomass expansion factor, including aboveground and root, ranges from 1.364 to2.403. In this study, biomass was estimated using allometric equation with diameter at breast height as independent variable. The results showed that as DBH increases, biomass also increases. Based on the analysis, adjusted coefficient of determination (R2 adj) of the total biomass was equivalent to 0.983. In terms of aboveground biomass, stem showed higher R2 adj (0.950)compared to the branch (0.856) and foliage (0.655).
