In this paper, we present a frequency-domain based UWB receiver which estimates the multipath channel and demodulates a received signal by compensating the channel characteristic. We show the proposed system implements a matched filter receiver, which can maximize the output SNR. From the simulation results, we verify the proposed system excels a non-matched type system in performance.

The Korean society is growing interests into companion animals with a deepening sense of alienation and economic growth from the aging population and increasing single-person households. The animal clinics and the medical industry have been advanced on a continuous basis based on such growing interests, but with intensifying competitions among the animal clinics. Lately, researchers` interests such as service quality, customer satisfaction and revisit intention gradually increase in korea pets industry. This study analyzed the impacts of the service quality for the animal clinic clients on customer satisfaction and the intention to revisit where the competitions over service is getting intensified among the animal clinics. According to the analysis, the service quality for the clients of the animal clinics had a positive impact on customer satisfaction, and customer satisfaction had a positive impact on the intention to revisit. Therefore, the animal clinics are required to improve their services as a key element to keep competing with others and to establish a positive relationship with customer satisfaction and revisit based on the improved services.

In this study, we examined the development plans of producer organization on the basis of the investigation on producers`` awareness and distribution status of rhododendron farms. The key contents and suggestions are as follows. First, the technical standard of producers was of a high level and the difficulty experienced by producers was market and price instability. In addition, soil management was limited to fertilization and control of insect pests. Also, there was insufficiency of discussions on farming plans among producers. Therefore, it is necessary to establish composite farming plans as well as to pursue joint purchasing of farming materials, scientific soil management and introduction of programs toactivate the organization. Second, rhododendron distribution mainly took place as trading at farming yards and the price was determined largely by merchants. For marketing, there was lack of distribution information and insufficient securing of trading partners. Therefore, it is necessary to improve price negotiation power, to establish a landscaping plant distribution center and to promote the 6th industrialization, etc. Third, in the long-term perspective, it will be necessary to establish the basis for R&D and implementation of hub for rhododendron industry.
주파수 영역 기반 BPM-UWB 시스템에서의 채널 추정 및 보상

본 논문은 ADC(analog-to-digital converter)의 속도에 의한 시간 영역에서 채널 추정 한계를 극복하기 위해서 트레이닝(training) 신호의 주파수 성분을 이용해서 다중경로 채널을 추정하고 이를 이용해서 채널 왜곡을 보상하는 BPM(biphase modulation)-UWB 수신기를 제안한다. 여러 개의 펄스로 구성된 펄스열의 주기적인 특성을 이용해서 효과적으로 채널 추정이 가능함을 수학적으로 보인다. 또한 추정된 채널 주파수 응답 정보를 이용해서 시스템 성능을 최적화 시킬 수 있는 디지털 수신부 구조를 제시하며 BER성능을 유도한다. 시뮬레이션을 통해 제시된 방법이 다중경로 채널을 보상함으로써 수신기의 BER성능이 획기적으로 개선됨을 보인다. To overcome the limit of the time-domain based channel estimation caused by the ADC speed, this paper present a new BPM-UWB receiver where the channel estimations and the compensations are digitally performed in the frequency domain. We theoretically show that the channel estimation can be accomplished by exploiting the periodicity of a training sequence consisting of finite number of pulses. We also present the digital receiver structure to implement the proposed system and derive its BER performances. Through computer simulations, we show the proposed receiver can dramatically improve the BER performances due to the incorporation of the estimated channel frequency response.
공동체의식과 교제활동이 도시텃밭 이용자 만족에 미치는 영향

Recently, the interest and participation of urban agriculture are increased. And the urban gardens are an important place to form a sense of community of users. This study was to identify the relationship between sense of community, fellowship activity, and satisfaction in urban garden users. To do this, questionnaires for frequency, validity and reliability, correlation, and regression analysis were conducted,. Data were collected from 7 places, and a total of 144 questionnaires were contained. The participants cultivate lettuce, red pepper, and tomato. The sense of community of urban garden users partially influenced their fellowship activities, and fellowship activities had a significant effect on user satisfaction. In addition, the sense of community partially affected the satisfaction of use. Therefore, it will be necessary to continuously expand the urban gardens, consult with stakeholders, and form a network.

본 논문은 주기적인 펄스열 형태의 동기 신호로 부터 주파수 성분들을 추출한 후 이를 이용해서 디지털적으로 구현 가능한 UWB 신호 동기 검출 방법을 제시한다. 동기 신호의 펄스 개수 및 펄스 간격이 동기 검출 성능에 미치는 영향 및 제시된 방법으로 얻을 수 있는 동기의 정확도를 이론적으로 분석한다. 또한, 시뮬레이션을 통하여 이론적 분석 결과를 검증하고 AWGN 환경에서의 제시된 방법의 성능을 보인다. In this paper, we propose a digitally implementable synchronization method for the UWB system. This is achieved by manipulating the frequency components of a synchronizing signal which is the sequence of pulses of periodicity. We analyze the dependancy of the number of pulses and pulse interval on the intrinsic synchronization accuracy. Moreover, through the computer simulation, the performance of the proposed method is examined via varying system parameters.
양계농장 대상 코이카 프로젝트 효과분석: 방글라데시 사례

In Bangladesh, antibiotic are readily available to people in local drug stores. Farmers are using AGP unlawfully due to improve growth and feed efficiency. Therefore, the aim of the study was to produce antibiotic free broiler using LED lighting system and probiotic in diet under the village condition of Bangladesh. Before conducting this experiment, three training programs were arranged consecutively to the small scale poultry farmers. After training, farmers reared broiler chicken with the technical support of KOICA to ensure antibiotic free broiler producing at farm condition. At the end of the project, a survey was conducted targeting 20 farmers at two villages (Aragaon and Pandhua village at Savar Upazilla) to evaluate the impact of replacing antibiotic growth promoters by using LED lighting system and probiotic in diet on the performance and economic returns of broiler chicks. Face to face interview method was applied following pretested well-structured questionnaire for this survey. Data were collected during 2018 from the farmers before and after training and demonstration focusing before and after project implementation on growth performance, disease outbreak and economic return of broiler farming. After receiving training, selected farmers achieved higher net returns as well as BCRs per bird and per batch than those of traditional practices. This study recommends carrying out further detailed long term program and replicate this success stories to other location of the country.
