본 연구는 간호사 교대근무 직무만족도를 측정하는 도구를 개발하고 그 신뢰도와 타당도를 검증하고자 시행된 방법론적 연구이다. 도구의 문항은 문헌고찰을 통해 개발하였으며, 도구 개발과정은 DeVellis(2021)가 제시한 도구개발 8단계에 따라 수행되었다. 신뢰도 검증을 위해서는 Cronbach's alpha 계수, 타당도 검증을 위해서는 탐색적 요인분석과 확인적 요인분석을 이용하였으며, 연구결과 최종적으로 10개 문항, 3개 요인으로 구성된 최종 설문 도구가 개발되었다. 확인적 요인분석 결과 모델적합도는 모든 지표(χ2 38.318(p-값 .205), RMSEA .050, TLI .955, CFI .974)에서 적합한 것으로 나타났다, 구성타당도 중 수렴타당도는 완벽하게 확보되지 않았으나 내용타당도와 준거타당도, 판별타당도는 모두 입증되었으며, Cronbach's alpha는 .775로 측정값의 전체적인 타당도와 신뢰도가 인정되었다. 본 연구에서는 간호사의 교대근무 직무만족도를 측정하는 구체적인 측정척도를 개발하고 측정의 타당도와 신뢰도를 분석하였다. 개발된 도구의 구조타당도 중 수렴타당도가 완벽하게 확보되지는 않았는데 단일 기관의 교대근무 간호사들을 대상으로 자료를 수집하여 표본의 크기 100명 미만이라는 제한점이 있으므로 이후 보다 많은 대상자들에게 개발된 도구를 이용한 교대근무 직무만족도를 반복 측정하여 도구의 타당도를 확보할 필요가 있겠다. 아울러 개발된 도구를 활용하여 간호사의 교대근무 직무만족도를 측정하고 이를 조직성과 향상을 위한 지표로 활용할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다. The purpose of this study was to develop and test the measurement for job satisfaction of the shift work nurses. In accordance with the stages of scale development by DeVellis, 10 expert nursing administrators reviewed the content validity. 80 voluntary participants answered the initial instrument. Content, construct, and criterion-related validities were analyzed using exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis. Reliability was approved by the Cronbach’s alpha coefficient. As a result of the study, the measuring scale for job satisfaction for the shift work nurses consists of 10 items, with 3 factors. The model fit was good with all indicators (χ2 38.318(p-value .205), RMSEA .050, TLI .955, CFI .974). The Cronbach’s alpha was .775, content validity, criterion-related validity and discriminant validity was all approved but the convergent validity was partially met. A specified measuring scale for job satisfaction of the shift work nurses had been developed and the validity and reliability of the measurement were analyzed. Although the convergent validity was partially not perfectly secured, overall validity and reliability of the measurement had been approved. It may be necessary to repeatedly measure job satisfaction related to shift work using the developed scale among a larger sample of subjects to ensure the validity of the developed measurement. Furthermore, it is expected that by utilizing the developed measurement, the job satisfaction of nurses working shifts can be measured and used as an indicator for organizational performance improvement.

Purpose: This study aimed to update the previously published nursing practice guideline for oral care. Methods: The guideline were updated according to the manuals developed by National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) and Scottish Intercollegiate Guidelines Network (SIGN), and a Handbook for Clinical Practice Guideline Developer Version 1.0. Results: Updated nursing practice guideline for oral care was consisted of 10 domains and 79 recommendations. The number of recommendations in each domain were: 5 general issues, 2 oral care indications, 9 oral assessment, 16 general oral care, 12 oral care for critically ill patients, 16 oral care for cancer patients, 12 oral care for cancer patients with oral complications, 5 oral care education, 1 oral care referral, and 1 documentation and report. In terms of grades for recommendations, 11.4% was grade A, 17.0% was grade B, and 68.2% was grade C. Twelve new recommendations were developed and 7 previous recommendations were deleted. Conclusion: Updated nursing practice guideline for oral care is expected to serve as an evidence-based practice guideline for oral care in South Korea. It is recommended that this guideline be spread to clinical nursing settings nationwide to improve the effectiveness of oral care practice.
