        앤더슨 모형을 적용한 산업체 근로자 직업유형에 따른 구강보건행위와 치과이용에 영향을 미치는 요인

        Objectives: The purpose of the study is to investigate the oral health and oral health beliefs in industrial workers and to analyze the influencing factors on dental health care utilization. Methods: The subjects were 280 adults from 16 to 64 years old in Seoul and Gyeonggi from June 20 to July 31, 2014, A self-reported questionnaire was completed after receiving informed consent. The independent variables consisted of predisposing, enabling, and need factors. The predisposing factors included gender, age, residence area, number of family. The enabling variables included monthly income, education, occupation, type of employment. The need factors included subjective oral health recognition and oral health belief model. These three variables had a direct and indirect influence on dental clinic use. The types of occupation were classified into desk duties, merchandizing and service duties technology and others by KSCO-6. Results: The relating factors to dental health care utilization were sex, oral health beliefs perceived benefits, perceived barriers, and self-efficacy. Female tended to have the higher oral health beliefs perceived benefits, perceived barriers(p<0.01), self-efficacy(p<0.05). Conclusions: Those who received frequent oral examination and health instruction tended to have a favorable impact on maintenance of oral health status and improvement in quality of life.

        체계적 문헌고찰을 통한 국내 치과공포 연구 동향분석 (2007-2017)

        Objectives: The purpose of this study was to investigate the overall research trends and factors influencing dental fears in the last 10 years (2007-2017) and provide recommendations for future research. Methods: The literature review focused on dental fear research in Korea. Inclusion criteria of selected studies were as follows: studies that examined fear in middle school students or older, studies undertaken between 2007-2017, and studies that examined trends and factors relating to dental fears. Results: Findings from this literature review showed that the most commonly used tool for measuring dental fear was the Dental Fear Survey (DFS). A lack of trust towards the dentist increased dental fear among patients. Women managed fear better than men. Past pain experiences increased dental fear. The most frequent intervention for reducing fear was sound (41.7%). Most of the intervention studies demonstrated a reduction of fear, with the exception of interventions using ear plugs. Fear was increased in studies involving ear plugs. Conclusions: Based on the results of the study, specific measures should be taken to alleviate past pain experiences, such as the fear of anesthetic injections and sensations of the dental drill. Continuous research is needed to reduce dental fear.

        치과위생사의 직무만족도, 의사소통 능력이 조직 내 의사소통에 미치는 영향

        본 연구는 치과위생사의 직무만족도와 의사소통능력을 살펴보고 그에 따른 조직 내 의사소통에 영향을 주는 요인을 규명하고. 이를 통해 임상현장에서 치과위생사의 효율적인 의사소통을 통하여 직무만족 향상에 도움을 줄 수 있는 의사소통능력 개발교육에 활용하는 기초자료를 제공하고자 시행하였다. 연구 대상은 서울과 경기지역 치과 병. 의원에서 근무하고 있는 치과위생사 200명을 대상으로 2019년 5월 18일부터 6월 12일까지 설문 조사하였다. 직무만족도와 의사소통, 조직 내 의사소통의 상관관계를 알아보기 위해 Pearson’s 상관관계 분석을 시행하였고 직무만족도와 의사소통이 조직 내 의사소통에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위해 다중회귀분석을 시행하였다. 연구 결과 직무만족도(r=0.193 p<0.05)와 의사소통능력(r=0.404, p<.001)은 조직 내 의사소통과 유의한 양의 상관관계로 나타났으며, 개인의 의사소통능력(β=0.461, p<.001),이 조직 내 의사소통에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 치과 위생사의 의사소통능력을 향상시키기 위해 전문 직업인으로 업무에 대한 자부심을 갖도록 직무만족을 높이고, 명확한 자기의사표현과 효과적인 의사소통이 이루어 질 수 있도록 치과 기관 내 교육과 관련 내용의 보수교육 참여 기회를 확대 제공하는 등의 노력이 필요 할 것이다. In this study, we set the occupational satisfaction and communication ability of clinical dental hygienists as the main variables, and investigated the factors that affect communication within the organization to improve the work of dental hygienists. Self-reporting questionnaires were administered to 200 dental hygienists working in dental hospitals and dental clinics in Seoul and Gyeonggi Province from May 18, 2019 to June 12, 2019. We analyzed the data with Pearson correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis. The significance level was set at 0.05. Research results: Job satisfaction (r=0.193, p<0.05) and communication ability (r=0.404, p<.001) showed a significant positive correlation with intra-organizational communication, and individual communication ability (β=0.461, P<.001), which was found to have a significant effect on communication within this organization. Therefore, in order to improve the communication skills of dental hygienists, they should be proud of their work as professionals, enhance their job satisfaction, and be able to have a clear expression of their own intentions and effective dialogue. Efforts should be made to provide opportunities such as opening related lectures during internal education and maintenance education.
