이 연구는 승마에 참여하는 사람들이 경험하는 승마 체험의 내적 의미를 이해함과 동시에 승마체험의 본질을 알아보는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 질적연구 방법 중 현상학적 연구방법를 채택하였고, Van Manen(1984)이 제시한 현상학적 체험연구방법을 이용하였다. A광역시에 소재하고 있는 B승마장을 연구환경으로 선택하였다. B승마장을 이용하고 있는 회원들 중 전형적 사례 선택(typical case selection)의 표집방법을 통해 7명을 최종 연구참여자로 선정하였다. 참여관찰과 심층면담을 통해 자료를 수집하였으며, Van Manen(1984)이 제시한 현상학적 연구를 위한 방법적 절차를통해 분석을 실시하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 연구참여자들은 특별한 사건을 통한 주관적 시간의 체험을하고 있는 것으로 나타났으며 동경, 공포, 인내, 그리고 중독, 몰입과 희열이란 소주제가 도출되었다. 둘째, 다양한 공간에서 나타나는 공간적 체험이 나타났으며 실내교육장의 체험, 실외교육장과 시합장의 체험, 라커룸의 체험, 외승의체험의 소주제가 도출되었다. 셋째, 말과 사람, 사람과 사람사이에 유지되는 체험적 관계가 나타났으며 조화와 부조화, 고립과 소통의 소주제가 도출되었다. 넷째, 유일무이한 신체적 체험을 하고 있었으며 신체적 고통에서 쾌락으로,복합적인 운동효과, 삶의 활력소의 소주제가 도출되었다. 이상의 연구결과를 통해 승마 참가자들이 경험하는 승마체험의 구조와 내적 의미를 보다 면밀하게 이해하고, 그 본질을 파악할 수 있다. The purposes of this paper were to understand inner meaning of people who experience horse-riding and look into the essenceof experiencing horse-riding. For this, I chose the phenomenological method of qualitative research method and usedphenomenological researching lived experience method which is shown by Van Manen. Research environment was B horseriding center located at A city. Among users, seven people were finally chosen for study participants by sampling method oftypical case selection. The data was collected through observation and interview. The collected data was analyzed byMethodological procedures. The results of this study are as follows. First, even though they spend same time at horse ridingcenter, they experienced different things through different episodes, many topics has drawn in terms of time such as yearning,fear, patience, riding addiction, absorption, joy and tonic. Second, spatial experience was found at various places such asindoor experience, outdoor and field experience, locker room experience, outdoor riding experience. Third, harmony anddisharmony, isolation-communication has been drawn as sub topics through relations between hose and people also betweenpeoples. forth, from pain to delight, multiple excersise effect, vibrant source of life have been drawn as subjects. This studyshowed that profound understanding of the people who experience horse-riding and essence of experiencing horse-riding.

인문,사회과학편 : 장 보드리야르의 소비사회이론 관점에서 본 청년기 남성의 몸만들기 문화

본 연구는 장 보드리야르의 소비사회이론 관점에서 웨이트 트레이닝을 통해 몸만들기에 전념하고 있는 청년기 남성을 대상으로 몸만들기 문화를 살펴보고자 하였다. 본 연구는 질적 연구방법으로 이루어졌으며 문화기술지를 사용하였다. 연구참여자는 유목적 표집법을 사용하여 웨이트 트레이닝에 참여하고 있는 청년기 남성회원 8명으로 선정하였다. 자료 수집을 위해 연구참여자들을 대상으로 참여관찰과 심층면담이 이루어졌으며, 텍스트 분석을 하였다. 연구의 내용을 요약하면 다음과 같다. 웨이트 트레이닝을 통해 몸을 만들고 있는 남성들은 자신의 몸을 이성에게 관심과 인기를 얻는 수단, 자신을 표현하는 형식이자 타인과의 차별성을 형성하는 구별 짓기의 기제, 몸만들기 실천을 통한 자기 통제력과 성실함을 나타내는 기호 가치로 인식하고 있었다. 한편, 그들의 몸만들기 문화는 응시의 지배에 따른 몸만들기, 상호작용을 통한 몸만들기, 개인의 정체성에 따른 몸만들기, 생산체계로서의 몸만들기로 나타났다. This research attempted to adopt the consumer society theory proposed by Jean Baudrillard and investigate the cultural aspects of young males who are engaged in body building. This research was conducted by applying qualitative method. Purposeful sampling method was used to select 8 young males who are participating in weight training. Data collection relies on detailed interviews and observations of their participation in the session programs. Text analysis was performed on obtained data. The research summary is as follows: males participating in the weight training session regarded their body as means to gain attention from females, an outlet to express themselves, and a way of distinguishing their identity from others. The body-building exercise was also recognized as a symbolic value embodying self-control and integrity. Meanwhile, their culture involved body building under pressure of being observed, body building through interaction, body building by individual`s identity, and body building as a production system.

30대 남성들의 스크린골프 참여의미와 수용요인: 혁신확산이론을 중심으로

본 연구는 30대 남성들이 스크린골프에 참여하는 이유와 방식에 대해 알아보고 그 요인을 Rogers가 혁신확산이론에서 밝힌 혁신의 5가지 특성을 통해 분석하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 질적연구 방법 중 사례연구를 채택하였다. 연구참여자는 눈덩이 표집을 이용하여 8명을 선정하였다. 자료수집은 심층면담을 통해 이루어졌으며, 수집된 자료는 테마분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과에서는 총 다섯 개의 테마가 도출되었으며 첫째, “접근, 조작 그리고 실행의 용이성” 둘째, “나에게 적합한 활동” 셋째, “새로운 매력” 넷째, “운동적 요소” 다섯째, “초기의 기술적 어려움과 기술향상에 대한 개인적 욕구”로 나타났다. Rogers가 제시한 5가지 요인 즉, 높은 상대적 이점, 적합성, 관찰가능성, 시행가능성과 상대적으로 낮은 복잡성은 혁신이 확산되는데 있어 아주 중요한 요인으로 작용하는데, 다섯 개의 테마를 통해 드러난 스크린골프의 특성은 한국사회에서 스크린 골프의 대중화를 이해하는 주요 요인을 제공한다. The purpose of this study was to understand how and why Korean individuals in their thirtieth perceive and adopt screen golf system based on five components of the diffusion of innovation theory. Among diverse qualitative research approaches, case study was employed. All participants were recruited from A city and they were recruited by face-to-face interaction and recommendations from facility staffs. Eight participants were finally participated in this study. To achieve the above goals, in-depth interview were employed and all data were analyzed by textual analysis. Five themes emerged from the analysis process: (1) The ease of approach, operation and execution. (2) A compatible activity. (3) The newness and attraction. (4) Facts associated with physical activity (5) Initial complexity and personal desire to be improved. Rogers’five components, including higher relative advantage, compatibility, observability, trialability, and lower complexity, played a crucial role in screen golf dissemination in Korean society. In addition, the characteristics of the screen golf emerged from five findings may explain ‘why’ and ‘how’ the screen golf rapidly become popular in Korean society.
