This study researches the application methods of Wearable Technology (WT) realizing the convergence of Design and Electronics that could broaden the fashion expression boundaries to correspond to current convergence trends. For this, students in the Department of Fashion design and the Department of Electronics conducted an oriented convergence-design-workshop. The initial step of the workshop, included a lecture on WT including existing cases and brainstorming. As a result, two types of concepts; 'Light' using the lighting technology and 'Complex' using transforming and lighting technologies together were generated. Designers created garments that did not externally expose digital devices and engineers then configured basic systems with the minimum size of the devices applying. At the development stage, designers constructed internal structures of garments which do not influence the comfort situation and activities of those wearing the garments. Engineers then adjusted and finished the fashion prototypes' whole WT systems drawing on designers' guidelines. As the result of this study's workshop, the fashion prototypes were extracted by collaboration according to WT concepts; therefore, there could be the promising potential to broaden fashion expression boundaries through the application of WT.
웨어러블 기능성 스마트 패션제품 개발 연구 - 특정사용자를 위한 특수한 기능성 구현을 중심으로 -

This study developed smart fashion prototypes that provide utilitarian functionality by combining Fashion and Electronics regarding the IT focused convergence tendency in modern industries. A convergence R&D workshop was performed by Fashion design majors and Engineering majors for the study. As a result, 5 functional smart fashion prototypes were developed and the outline of each prototype are as follows. The 1<sup>st</sup> prototype, ‘Hidden Camera Detecting Coat’ focused on gender-related crimes. The coat uses infrared lighting and LED technologies to provide a function to detect hidden cameras in suspicious public spaces such as toilets. The 2<sup>nd</sup> prototype, ‘Heating-massage Suit’ targeted patients with musculoskeletal system difficulties. The suit uses heating and vibration technologies to provide a heating massage treatment for patients with ongoing difficulties in their daily lives. The 3<sup>rd</sup> prototype is an air-bag jacket to prevent sexual molestation on public transportation. The jacket extends its volume through pressure sensing, air compressing, motors and 3D-printing technology to secure the wearer’s personal preventive space between the user’s body and others. The 4<sup>th</sup> prototype is a town wear for people suffering from synesthesia. People with synesthesia inadvertently see colors when exposed to certain sounds. This town wear uses sound sensing, air compressing, motors and 3D-printing technology to provide sound prevention and a comfortable sound playing function. The 5<sup>th</sup> prototype is a set of a vest and a gloves for visually impaired people. The vest and gloves uses DMS, voice playing, vibration technology to provide distance measuring and warning functions.

무등산 지역은 광주광역시 동부와 전라남도 화순군 서부 및 담양군 남부지역이 만나는 곳에 위치한 무등산(1,187m)과 그 주위 지역을 포함하는 곳으로, 본 연구지역은 무등산 일대의 중생대 화성활동으로 형성된 암석을 중심으로 이루어졌다. 무등산 일대의 대표적인 암상으로 중생대 백악기 석영 안산암, 석영반암, 미문상 화강암, 무등산 용암이 분포하고 있다. 암석화학적으로 미문상 화강암은 화강암 내지 화강섬록암에 해당하며 무등산 용암은 안산암질 용암에 해당한다. 무등산은 암석학적으로 많은 연구가 되어있으나, 광물학적인 연구는 미진하여 무등산 일대에 대한 광물학적 연구를 실시하였다. 전남 화순군에 위치한 안양산을 포함하여 광주광역시 무등산 지왕봉, 의상봉, 낙타봉, 바람재, 풍암재, 입석대, 백마능선, 얼음바위에서 채취한 암석시료를 X-선 회절분석(X-ray diffraction, XRD), 에너지 분산 X-선 분광법(Energy Dispersive X-ray Spectroscopy, EDS) 분석을 실시하여 결정학적 특성을 알아보았다. XRD 분석결과 모든 시료에서 사장석과 석영이 가장 우세하게 관찰되었으며, 특징적으로 고온에서 급랭하여 형성되는 광물인 Sanidine과 Cristobalite가 minor phase로 관찰되었다. EDS분석결과로는 규소 및 산소의 원자비율이 80% 이상으로 많은 양을 차지하고 있었으며, 알루미늄, 포타슘 등의 순서로 분포하였다. 입석대에서는 다른 지역에서는 전혀 관찰되지 않았던 철과 마스네슘의 비율이 각각 약 1.4%와 0.4%로 관찰되었다.
