본 논문의 목적은 덕윤리가 도덕직관을 일관성 있게 해명할 수 있는지 검토하는 것이다. 도덕직관은 도덕추론과 빈번히 충돌하는 경향이 있다. 여기서는 여덟 가지 유형의 트롤리딜레마를 간략하게 소개했고, 각각의 딜레마에 대한 행위 중심 윤리학의 행위정당화 과정을 살펴보았다. 그 결과 행위 중심 윤리학의 행위정당화는 각각의 사례들에 대해 설명하는데에는 유용하지만 여덟 가지 유형의 딜레마 모두를 일관성 있게 정당화기 위해서는 도덕직관과의 충돌을 피할 수 없다는 점이 드러났다. 반면 덕윤리는 여덟 가지 트롤리 딜레마 유형에서 드러나는 행위자의 도덕직관에 대한 설명을 제공할 수 있다. 덕윤리는 행위의 정당성을 유덕한 행위자의 성품으로부터 도덕적 정서, 동기 그리고 결과에 이르기까지 포괄적 요인들로부터 이끌어내기 때문이다. 이와 같은 덕윤리의 다원적 성격은 일원적인 행위 중심 윤리학의 이론들을 포괄하고 조정할 수 있으며, 우리의 도덕적 경험을 보다 적합하게 설명해줄 수 있는 조건이 된다. 덕윤리는 도덕직관에 대해 설득력 있는 해명을 할 수 있을 뿐만 아니라 상호 불가통약적인 토대 위에 서 있는 다양한 도덕 원칙들을 포섭할 수 있는 대안적 윤리가 될 수 있을 것이다. The purpose of this paper is to examine whether virtue ethics can explain the moral intuition consistently. Moral intuition often tends to conflict with moral reasoning, here we briefly introduce the eight types of trolley dilemmas, and we have examined the justification process of act-centered ethics for each dilemma. As a result, the justification of act-centered ethics is useful in explaining each case, but it has been shown that conflict with moral intuition cannot be avoided in order to consistently justify all eight types of dilemmas. On the other hand, virtue ethics can provide an explanation for the moral intuition of the agent in the eight types of trolley dilemmas. Virtue ethics derives its legitimacy from inclusive factors, from the character of virtuous agent to moral emotions, motives and outcomes. The pluralistic nature of virtue ethics can encompass and coordinate the theories of unified act-centered ethics and provide a more appropriate explanation of our moral experience. Virtue ethics can be an alternative ethic that not only can make convincing explanations of moral intuition but also embraces various moral principles standing on incommensurable grounds.
틸라피아의 에드와드병에 대한 백신과 Adjuvant 의 효과

A formalized bacterin(FKC) of Edwardsiella tarda, conjugated with/without Freund`s complete adjuvant(FCA), Freund`s incomplete adjuvant(FIA) and potassium aluminium sulfate(PAS), was administered by intraperitoneal injection to tilapia respectively. The tilapia were reared under indoor recirculating filter system. There were agglutinin titer increment in the tilapia which were administered not only FKC bacterin but also adjuvanted vaccines. But the producing time of the highest level of antibody in the immunized tilapia was different among vaccine preparation, i. e. FKC + FCA group and PAS + FKC group are between the 2nd and the 4th week, and FKC alone group is the 2nd week. In the challenge experiment with 2.5× 10^7 CFU/㎖ or 2.5×10^8 CFU/㎖ of E. tarda T1123 to the tilapia immunized with vaccines, RPS above sixty was recorded both challenge dose in the tilapia which were 3 weeks after immunization with FKC+FCA, PAS+FKC and FKC alone, and the former dose 8 weeks after immunization with FCA+FKC and PAS+FKC. There were some resistance enhancement against E. tarda in the tilapia which were injected with adjuvant alone than that of control. As the results, the FCA or PAS adjuvanted vaccine is effective to sustain the defensible period against edwardsiellosis.

To study the immune responses of the japanese eel. Anguilla japonica, fish were injected intraperitoneally with several types of Edwardsiella tarda antigen, i. e., FKC(formalin killed cells), HKC(heat killed cells) or LPS(lipopolysaccharide), and the changes of immunocytes numbers, phagocytosis and agglutination titre in the peripheral blood of the fish were investigated. The number of lymphocytes in the peripheral blood of eels were decreased until 6 hours after injection, and then were turn to normal levels after 24 hours of injection. However, the level were slightly increased and were remained after 24 hours. The number of neutrophils of FKC, HKC or LPS injected fish were the highest at 12 hours after injection and were decreased slowly after that. Three weeks after the injections, the agglutination of antibody titre of all immunized groups were reached at 128 and were remained this level thereafter. However 6 weeks after the injections, that in HKC injected fish were dropped the level up to 4. Fish were injected with LPS and the blood from the fish were bled after 12 hours. Then the blood were incubated with E. tarda. Six hours after incubation, the phagocytic index was reached the highest level, 28.3. One week after the LPS injection, the blood were again bled and incubated with E. tarda. The phagocytic index at this time was 3.9. The phagocytic indexes of the fish injected with FKC and HKC, treted as same LPS injected fish as above, were 18.8 and 10.7, respectively. The phagocytic index of the control fish was 1.2. The antibacterial activities of normal antiserum against E. tarda were shown for both FKC and LPS injected fish, but not for HKC injected fish. The RPS(relative percentage of survival) of HKC, FKC and LPS injected fish in the challenge test were 10%. 20% and 30%, respectively. These results suggest that the effect of protection of the eel which were injected with antigen were varied with the method of preparation of the antigen.

The purpose of this study is to know Effects of School Gardening Activities on Elementary School Students’ Scientific Exploration Ability and Attitude toward Science to suggest to develop School Gardening Activities. For the study, the research subject was conducted with 30 elementary school students as an experimental group, and 30 students under the same conditions as a control group. The course was held in about 5 months. This study gives a conclusion that The School Gardening Activities have positive effects to cultivate Scientific Exploration Ability and Attitude To Science positively by planting based on systematic observation in school and field study for a long period in gardening.
양식새우에서의 White Spot Bacuiobirus 의 분리 및 특성

Beginning in the summer of 1993, a serious mortality among cultured penaeid shrimp occurred in the western sea of Korea. The typical sign of this disease was white spots inside the surface of the carapace. Cytopathic effect (CPE) were not observed by virus in CHSE-214, RTG-2, but not by pH 11. A nonoccluded rod-shaped form virus was observed by electron microscopy in the lymphoid organ. The virion was bacilliform virus and sourrounded by a virion envelope. Its virion protein was found to be similar to hypodermal and hematopoietic necrosis virus (HHNBV) by analysis of virion proteins in SDS-PAGE. The genome of virus is double stranded DNA molecule whose full length was about 114kb. It was similar to penaeus acute viremia (PAV) of Japan.

목 적 : 편두통 환자, 특히 전조가 동반된 편두통 환자에 대한 topiramate의 치료 효과를 알아보기 위해 본 연구를 시행했다. 방 법: 2004년 1월 1일에서 2006년 12월 31일까지 편두통으로 진단하여 topiramate를 투여한 27명을 대상으로, 국제두통학회의 편두통 진단 기준에 따라 증세 호전의 차이가 있는 지 분석하였다. 결 과: 편두통의 진단 조건과 topiramate 투여 후의 증세 변화에는 상관관계가 있었다. 구토 구역 증세 및 빛과 소리에 대한 과민성 여부는 topiramate 투여 후의 증세변화와 관련이 없었다. 전조의 존재는 topiramate 투여 후 증세 개선과 관련이 있었고 특히 증세가 소실된 경우와 밀접한 관련이 있었다. 결 론 : 보다 정확한 진단과 전조의 존재가 topiramate의 치료 효과를 높이는 요인인 것으로 판단된다. Purpose : This study was undertaken to investigate the therapeutic effects of topiramate on pediatric patients with migraine, especially migraine accompanied by aura. Methods : From January. 2004 to December. 2006, we reviewed the medical records of 27 patients who were diagnosed as migraine and treated with topiramate. And we analysed to see whether there was any improvement of symptoms based on the migraine criteria by International Headache Society. Results : There was a correlation between the migraine criteria and the improvement of symptoms after the treatment by topiramate. The symptoms of nausea, vomiting and hypersensitivity to light and sound were not associated with the improvement of symptoms after the treatment by topiramate. The symptom of aura was related with the improvement of symptoms, moreover, closely related with disappearance of symptoms after the treatment by topiramate. Conclusion : It is estimated that more accurate diagnosis coupled with the presence of aura is a condition to improve the treatment effects of topiramate.
