The height provisions, by the urban planning, describe the hightest height per width division, also define oblique line limitation by road without mentioning the highest per width division. Therefore this study will be a basic model for the standard of measuring the highest height per width division analysizing the propriety of current standard of oblique limitation. This technique is prepared to prevent the confusion and to complements the existing planning method. Therefore, it takes more time to establish this new method and to apply it to the existing condition. This study reviewed density control in District Units Plan, based on the guidelines of density, which included height, ratio of total floor to ground area, and land distribution. This study aims to provide efficient analysis by using current oblique limitation provisions Thus, proving the area rations of general residential areas are decreasing. Since the purpose of the District Units Plan is to avoid confusion and help ease the existing problematic conditions which have risen from the two above-mentioned conventional systems, further observation and research on these areas are necessary.

The study is to provide the guidelines for the classification of residential zoning System in Seoul which reflect district characteristics. To this end, we first identify the problems the residential areas of Seoul are facing, and set up the policy goals and guidelines for refinding the zoning system for residential areas. Also, this study reviewed density control in he classification of residential zoning system, based on the guidelines of density, which included height, ratio of total floor to ground area, and land distribution.

본 연구는 지역경제 활성화와 문화사회적 역할을 수행하는 지역축제 중에서 문화관광축제로 지정되어 관광상품성이 크고 축제의 콘텐츠등이 우수한 최우수축제의 특성을 조사하여 지역축제의 활성화요소를 도출하고, 또한 관광객 유치 확대를 도모하기 위한 산학연 전문가를 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 긍정적 요인과 중요도의 내용을 심층적으로 분석한 논문이다. To regenerate dilapidated urban areas environmentally, economically, culturally, and socially. it is necessary to establish and implement development strategies with regional consideration and to promote regional activation by improving various industries with the introduction of high-tech knowledge and culture industry and enhancing mutual improvements of those industries. To realize that, various technical development and institutional improvement are under way. Nevertheless, balanced development between cities and provinces, integration of innovative bodies, and network among them are unsatisfactory. In particular, culture-related parts are severe. This study came up with activation elements of local festivals by analyzing characters of best ones among cultural and tourist festivals in the nation. By AHP. Also, to analyze positive causes of increased tourists in local festivals, in the stage of information collection, Fuzzy-AHP was used for experts. The analyzed result shows that, in terms of the importance of class 1 of upper classes, the most essential cause is subsidiary facilities (0.288) in order to calculate a positive weight of increased tourists in local festivals. Subsidiary facilities include subordinate elements such as parking, direction beards and sign boards, and toilets. Accommodations (0.248) was placed second, including general accommodations such as inns, tourist accommodations such as hotels and family hotels, and recreational facilities such as pensions and membership resorts. Then, experience contents, shopping contents, and proximity are researched and analyzed in order. Toilets (0.144). recreational facilities such as pensions or membership resorts making families comfortably take a rest (0.140). tourist courses connected with neighboring tourist attractions (0.113), appropriate positioning of sign boards or guides (0.081). tourist items developed in connection with available national or local festivals were researched as important elements in the class 2.

For the prevention of urban central vacancy and for the promotion of a liveliness of urban central areas, the korean goverment has encouraged mixed-used development with housing in the CBD. So far there are basically 3 differently types of mixed-used development. The first type generally mixes commercial, office, and residential, vertically in the same building. In the second example, generally residential and/or office space share the same commercial base. The third type is the 'estate type' which seperates residential, office, and commercial into their own respective buildings, while open spaces, pedestrian network, and public facilities are shared within a single district. Even though mixed-used development has been encouraged, this kind of development with housing is very rare in the CBD, although very popular in other places. Moreover, the 1st type mentioned above is the prevailing type and there are virtually no examples of the estate type. The main problem with the first type is that there are few public facilities and spaces in order to enhance residential environment. Also, Unlike preexisting apartment homes where installation of public convenience facilities were required by Restriction on standars of housing and construction law, a multi-use building does not bear any responsibility for installation of public convenience facilities, consisting fully of commercial sector.
