OEB(Open Electronic Book) 표준을 지원하는 Viewer의 설계와 구현

e-book is digital contents using IT technology instead of paper. It is carried in Internet and displayed wish Viewer of PC, PDA or terminal. The Open eBook specification is to provide a specification for representing the content of electronic books to these viewers. The specification is based on HTML and XML, the same core languages that define the World Wide Web, and is designed to allow publishers and authors to deliver their material in a single format. In this paper, we design and implement the viewer that can support OEB(Open eBook) standard. Viewer is composed parser part and display part. In audition, we add some functions - the book shelf, the bookmark and the dictionary - for convenience of readers.

The lab-scale anaerobic continuous reactor which was filled with the sludge of anaerobic digestion from Suyoung wastewater treatment plant was operated by feeding of various concentrations and flow rates. This experiment indicated that more than 6,870 ㎎COD/L of substrate concentration was required to promote good metabolism and growth of anaerobic biomass. And increasing loading rate slowly was also required in order to treat substrate of higher concentration and higher loading rate. The substrate concentration of about 10,000 ㎎COD/L was adequate to generate biogas efficiently. The pH was sharply decreased at the onset of higher loading rate, but the pH was restabilized soon at 8. During the experiment, the amount of the attached biomass was kept constant.

Optical microscope, SEM (Scanning Electron Microscopy) and fluorescent microscope were used for qualitative and morphological studies of the attached biomass on PE (polyethylene) substratum under anaerobic condition. It was shown by the observation of optical microscope that the initial attachment of biomass began in crevices of the surface of PE. The shape and structure of the attached biofilm could be observed by SEM photographs, but species of bacteria were and methanogens were not classified. A large number of methanogenic bacteria were identified on the surface of PE substratum by fluorescence under 480㎚ of radiation. It was estimated that methanogenic bacteria was also related to initial attachment of biomass under anaerobic condition.

The layered video multicast has been considered to be an efficient approach for coping with network heterogeneity. For the transmission rate control of layered video multicast, the receiver-based approach and the network-supported approach have been reported. In this paper, we propose a dynamic rate control method for multicasting layered video data using active network. Active networks allow protocol processing code to be loaded into network nodes at run-time. The intermediate active nodes along the paths from a sender to receivers process the code for the rate control actively. We defined some active packets-Join capsule, Data capsule and Layer-Info capsule-which are able to process each code and the layer status table which has information of downstream links and exists in active nodes. The output queue length of a downstream link in the intermediate active node is monitored periodically, and the network condition is estimated with it. According to the estimated network condition, the active node handles the number of data layer and filters the data that are useless on a downstream node. The proposed method can achieve the efficient network-supported rate control of the layered video multicasting on active network.
