To see how korean women perceive the taste, the flavor, the water color of tea, the survey was conducted using questionaire to 421 women in 6 provinces and metropolitan Cities. The women responded to perceive the taste of tea generally. the younger women perceived more than the older women did. there were aftertaste, astringent taste of tea which the women recognize easily, however, they could not perceive savory taste, bitter, sweet of tea. The women in above 50th were responded not to recognize the aftertaste, the savory taste, the sweet of tea than the women in under 50th did, However, they responded to perceive the bitter of tea more than the younger women. The women reponded to perceive the flavor of tea more than the taste of tea, and to be interested in the water color of tea as much as the taste of tea. The women in under 40th could perceive the flavor more than the older women did. Also they responded to be interested in the water color of tea more than the older women were.
