Plug hybid and electric vehicle have during the past year shown an increasing potential, implementing new Li-Ion batteries. These provide a performance similar to today’s fossil fueled vehicles. The drawback of highly efficient cars is the lack of waste heat from engin, used for cabin heating. An alternative to the presently used PTC heater also is able to heat vehicle. PTC heater has a weakness which is engergy consumpsion. PTC heater and tracktion motor use same battery engergy. PTC heater has an adverse effect on fuel efficiency, 30~40 percent is decreaing. To improve fuel efficiency, study of alternative heat source is necessary. One of efficient heat source would be PE parts and traction motor waste heat. In this study, it is being suggested that the system uses PTC heater and waste heat from motor and PE parts. According to the experiment, system efficiency improvement is 14.9%

In this study, as a study for implementing an automotive effectiveness of anti-microbial, anti-fungal, anti-allergen, anti-viral and for considering the operating mechanism based on the activating principle of the anti-substance by the addition of anti-substance to the interior parts of the vehicle such as head lining and carpets, was looking for ways to take advantage of the part. Selection of health-care parts that can exert the maximum effect in a room interior parts to it, and handle the claim for this various material to identify specific effects through the basic material properties verification, was considered to simultaneously satisfied the verification of health-care performance, the reliability of production molded parts and easiness of manufacturing method. In addition, the optimized evaluation method was appropriately selected to the automotive parts through anti-microbial, anti-fungal, anti-allergen and anti-virus performance review and assessment methods.

Nowadays the most importance thing of wiper system is optimizing performance. Therefore most of car makers make effort to build up their performance of wiper system. As for this paper, wiper system with a variable crank improves performace about 50% rates in severe condition such as lots of snow, low temperature. To proof this, this paper is attached some results which are the snow durability test result and critical durability test result and so forth.

Along with popularization of leisure activities, automobile customers want more and more storage space for various equipments. It is common to use additional carrier system on the outside of car when carrying large size loads or leisure equipments such as bicycles. This study deals with consideration points of developing rear bumper integrated storage system, especially in view of optimized layout for SUV/MPV and how to satisfy regulations which is related with the location of this system.
