Objectives : The purpose of this study is to report the Korean medicine treatment on whole-body nummular eczema. Methods : This case study was conducted with a 66-year-old female patient who has whole-body nummular eczema treated by Korean medicine. She was treated from 2021.3.30 to 2021.6.28. During the treatment, the two herbal medicines were changed depending on the patient's condition. We treated her with herbal medicine, herbal external preparations and acupuncture treatment. For the evaluation of the results, we used photo comparison, VAS, and DLQI. Results : After the treatment, the nummular eczema lesions of patient was remarkably improved. Also, the VAS grade of other symptoms such as pruritus, burning sense, oozing, crusting and erythema were decreased and DLQI score changed from 27 to 2. Conculsions : This study suggests that Korean medicine treatments are effective for patient with recurrent nummular eczema.
소유역의 수로기하학적특성과 사면을 고려한 유역순간단위도의 유도

유역순간단위도를 수로기하학적 특성과 사면을 고려하여 유도하였다. 수로기하학적 특성은 Width function으로 정량화되며, 이것은 출구로부터 임의 흐름거리의 유량 분포를 나타낸다. 유역순간단위도의 유도에 사용된 모형은 간단한 확산함수에 의해 수로에 분포된 초기유량을 추적하는 추적요소와 사변에서의 체류시간 밀도함수인 지수분포로 나타내지는 사면요소로 구성하였다. 본 방법의 적용성을 검토하기 위하여 보청천유역, 위천유역에 대해 4개사상의 실측수문량을 이용하여 유역순간단위유량도를 산정하였으며, 산정 결과, 본 연구에서 제안한 방법 을 이용해 유역순간단위유량도를 유도할 수 있음을 확인하였다. The basin instantaneous unit hydrograph was derived by considering the network geometry and hillslope. The network geometry is quantified in a function, termed the width function, that reflects the distribution of runoff with flow distance from the outlet. The model using the derivation of the basin IUH consists of two components: the routing component of the initial distribution through the network by means of a simplified diffusion approximation and the hillslope component by means of a exponential distribution that is the probability density function of the travel time in the hillslope. The application of this method was tested on four observed flood data of Bocheong stream and Wi stream. The results show that the proposed method can be used for the analysis of the basin IUH.
실리카 코어 금 위성입자의 합성 및 표면 증강 라만 산란을 기반으로 한 센서로의 응용

In this study, we synthesize silica-core gold-satellite nanoparticles (SGNPs) for the surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) based sensing applications. They consist of gold satellite nanoparticles (AuNPs) fixed on the silica core nanoparticles, which sizes of AuNPs can be tunned by varying the amount of reactants (growth solution and reducing agent). Their surface plasmon resonance (SPR) properties were characterized by using UV-vis spectroscopy, showing that the growth of AuNPs on silica cores leads to the light absorption in the longer wavelength region. Furthermore, the size increase of AuNPs exhibited the dramatic change in SERS activity due to the formation of hot spots. The optimized SGNPs showing enhancement factor ${\sim}3.8{\times}10^6$ exhibited a detection limit of rhodamine 6G (R6G) as low as $10^{-8}M$. These findings suggest the importance of size control of SGNPs and their SPR properties to develop highly efficient SERS sensors.
주사(Rosacea)의 한약 치료에 대한 체계적 문헌고찰 및 메타분석

Objectives : This review was conducted to validate the effectiveness and safety of herbal medicine combined with conventional therapy for rosacea. Methods : Randomized controlled trials(RCTs) reporting the effects of herbal medicine treatment on rosacea were searched through eight electronic databases from 2016 to March 17, 2020. This study collection and data extraction were performed by two independent reviews. The Cochrane risk-of-bias tool was used for the evaluation of the risk of bias in all included RCTs. Mean differences(MD) and Risk ratio(RR) of 95% Confidence intervals(Cls) were calculated and data synthesis was conducted using Review Manager(RevMan, ver.5.4) Results : Eighteen RCTs were included and all trials compared the combined therapy of herbal medicine with conventional western therapy to conventional therapy alone. The effective rate of the combination of herbal medicine with western medicine(RR 1.20, 95% CI : 1.13-1.28, p<0.00001, I<sup>2</sup>=0%), the effective rate of the combination of herbal medicine with laser-based therapy(RR 1.12, 95% CI : 1.04-1.21, p=0.004, I<sup>2</sup>=18%) and the effective rate of the combination treatment group using herbal medicine, western medicine and external drugs were all statistically higher that of the control group(RR 1.19, 95% CI : 1.11-1.28, p<0.00001, I<sup>2</sup>=0%). The score of non transient erythema(MD -0.36, 95% CI : -1.01 0.29, p=0.27, I<sup>2</sup>=93%), flushing(MD -0.69, 95% CI : -0.97, 0.41, p<0.00001, I<sup>2</sup>=32%), papules or pustules(MD 0.10, 95% CI : -0.15, 0.35 p=0.44, I<sup>2</sup>=0%) were also seen in the herbal medicine and western medicine combination group. The overall risk of bias of the included studies was some concerns. No serious adverse effects were observed. Conclusions : This review found the safety and effectiveness of the combined therapy of herbal medicine with conventional western therapy for rosacea.
수열합성법에 의해 합성된 수산화아파타이트 결정의 입자 형상에 관한 EDTA의 영향

Hydroxyapatite (HAP) crystals with hexagonal structure have been successfully synthesized by using EDTA(ethylene diamine tetraacetic acid) as chelate under hydrothermal condition. The as-prepared HAp powders were characterized by XRD and SEM. The XRD result indicated that the products were preferentially oriented along c-axis. The SEM photographs showed that the morphology of the HAp crystals was well controlled by the reaction parameters such as temperature, pH value, and the molar ratio of EDTA/Ca. 육방정계 구조를 가지는 수산화아파타이트 결정은 킬레이트 착화합물을 형성 할 수 있는 EDTA(ethylene diamine tetraacetic acid)를 이용하여 수열조건에서 합성 하였다. 제조된 분말은 X-선 회절 패턴 및 주사전자현미경에 의해 특성 평가 하였다. 제조된 수산화아파타이트 분말은 육방정계 구조의 c축에 따라 결정이 성장하였고, 결정의 형상은 수열온도, pH, EDTA/Ca 및 출발물질의 Ca/P 몰 비와 같은 반응 파라메타에 의해 제어 되었다.
