Visual MODFLOW was used for quantifying stream-aquifer interactions caused by seasonal groundwater pumping. A hypothetical conceptual model was assumed to represent a stream-aquifer system commonly found in Korea. The model considered a two-layered aquifer with the upper alluvium and the lower bedrock and a stream showing seasonal water level fluctuations. Our results show that seasonal variation of the stream depletion rate (SDR) as well as the groundwater depletion depends on the stream depletion factor (SDF), which is determined by aquifer parameters and the distance from the pumping well to the stream. For pumping wells with large SDF, groundwater was considerably depleted for a long time of years and the streamflow decreased throughout the whole year. The impacts of return flow were also examined by recalculating SDR with an assumed ratio of immediate irrigation return flow to the stream. Return flow over 50% of pumping rate could increase the streamflow during the period of seasonal pumping. The model also showed that SDR was affected by both the conductance between the aquifer and the stream bed and screen depths of the pumping well. Our results can be used for preliminary assessment of water budget analysis aimed to plan an integrated management of water resources in riparian areas threatened by heavy pumping.
한국 농업 투·융자 부문의 시대별 변천과정과 정책시사점 고찰

한국 농업은 시장개방과 무역자유화 파고를 넘어 새로운 산업으로 변화하기 위한 다양한 노력을 경주하고 있다. 최근 자유무역협정 체결과정을 겪으면서 한국 농업은 위기의 시대를 맞이하고 있지만 위기극복을 위한 다양한 정책 및 제도들이 논의되고 있다. 특히 농업부문의 생산성향상과 안정적인 소득증대를 이룩하기 위한 정부를 비롯한 민간과 농가단위의 투·융자 프로그램은 농업경쟁력 향상을 위한 제도적인 시스템으로 인식되고 있다. 본 연구는 1960년대부터 현재까지 한국 농업부문에 대한 투·융자 프로그램의 역사적 변천과정을 시대별로 분석함으로써 한국 농업의 생산성 향상과 소득증대에 대해 미친 영향 및 정책시사점을 도출하여 농업부문 투·융자의 미래방향과 정책시사점을 제시 하고자 한다. 이러한 연구결과를 통해 새로운 농업경쟁력 기반을 조성하기 위한 한국 농업의 중장기적인 투·융자 프로그램 개발과 한국적 투·융자 모델을 구축하는데 의미를 부여할 수 있다. The development of Korean agriculture could be periodically classified by changes in economic circumstances and policies or by changes in the agricultural structure. This paper presents a study of the agriculture investment and loan policies and their implemen-tations in Korea. This paper examines periodic changes in agricultural circumstances, investment supporting programs of agriculture and their policy implications, and analytical results of mid-term and long-term supporting policies. It will analyze the trend of Korean agricultural investment for the last 30 years, compare it by sectors-public, private, and farm household-and suggest policy implications.
잣나무임지 내 청설모(Sciurus vulgaris coreae)의 행동권 및 일일 행동 특성

본 연구는 청설모에 의한 잣구과 피해를 방지하고 효율적인 개체군 밀도 유지를 위한 과학적인 기초자료를 마련하기 위해 2003년 3월부터 2004년 6월까지 우리나라 잣나무림에 서식하고 있는 청설모(Sciurus vulgaris)의 행동 특성에 대한 연구를 실시하였다. 청설모의 행동권은 2±1 ha였으며 세력권은 1.4±0.7 ha로 잣나무림 내 안정적인 세력권을 형성하고 있었다. 서식지내에서의 일일 활동 시간은 여름철과 가을철에 오전 과 오후에 각각 1회씩 활동지수가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 실험실내 최초 활동시간은 월별 일출 시간에 따라 최초의 활동시간도 조금씩 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났으며 서식지별 ha당 서식밀도는 잣나무 임지에서 1.1개체로 임도 지역의 0.9개체 보다 조금 높게 나타났다. This study investigates the behavioral characteristics of Sciurus vulgaris coreae inhabiting in pine forest in Korea from March, 2003 till June, 2004 to prevent damage on pine cones caused by Sciurus vulgaris coreae and establish scientific foundational data to maintain the density of population efficiently. Sciurus vulgaris coreae home range was 2±1 ha, and their scope of power was 1.4±0.7 ha, so they built a stable scope of power in the pine cone forest. Regarding the daily activity hours in the habitat, they showed a high activity index separately once in the morning and in the afternoon during summer and winter. About the initial activity hours in the lab, there was slight difference of initial activity hours by the time of sunrise of each month. And the population density per ha in the habitat was 1.1 population in the pine forest, so it was slightly higher than 0.9 population of the forest road.

Low cycle fatigue life of spheroidal graphite cast iron is determined by the morphological parameters of internal graphite. The aim of this study is to clarify the effect of the number of nodular grain of spheroidal graphite cast iron on low cycle fatigue life. Two specimens that have identical average nodular grain size by changing nodular grain volume fraction and different number of nodular grain count was tested. In this paper, the parameter governing fatigue life through fatigue test, the number of nodular grain seriously affect fatigue life and nodular grain size is no longer governing parameter of it.

In this paper, drill feed mechanism, cutting depth measuring device and sensing buzzer of drill contact were investigated in order to develop the micro-hole drilling machine. Also, measuring device of cutting resistance was developed in order to estimate cutting resistance from change of cutting condition. The results show that extremely-low feed rate(less then 17㎛/s) can be done and cutting depth can be measured by up to 1㎛ with develope drilling machine. Accordingly we could assemble a very cheap micro-hole drilling machine(ø0.05∼0.5mm). Also we got the some properties of cutting performance i.e. under the same condition, cutting torque decreases as increase of spindle speed and rapid feed of drill brings about the inferior cutting state under low spindle speed.
