디젤기관에서 모노에테르계 함산소제(EGBE)를 이용한 배기배출물 저감과 분석

In this study, the potential possibility of oxygenated fuel such as ethylene glycol mono -n-butyl ether(EGBE) was investigated for the sake of smoke reduction from diesel engine. Because EGBE include oxygen content approximately 27.1%, it is a kind of effective oxygenated fuel that the smoke emission of EGBE is reduced remarkably compared with commercial diesel fuel, that is, it can supply oxygen component sufficient at high load and speed in diesel engine. The results of this study show two conclusions. 1. The smoke emission of the EGBE blended fuel is exhausted lower than that of the diesel fuel at all experimental region in direct injection diesel engine. 2. Smoke emission from diesel engines was strongly depended on oxygen content in fuel regardless of operating condition. 3. Creation of smoke emission is depend on oxidization of higher boiling point hydrocarbons

In this study. the effect of oxygen component in blending fuels on the exhaust emissions has been investigated for diesel engines.<br/> It tested to estimate change of engine performance and exhaust emission characteristics for the commercial diesel fuel and oxygenated blend fuel which has three kinds of fuel and mixed ratio, This study carried out by comparing the exhaust emission characteristics with diesel fuel and diesel fuel blended DGM(diethylene glycol dimethyl ether). MTBE(methyl tert-butyl ether) and EGBE(ethylene glycol mono-n-butyl ether).<br/> Because Oxygenates of the study include oxygen content approximately from 18.1Wt-% to 36.5Wt-% in itself. they arc kinds of effective oxygenated fuels that the smoke emissions of oxygenate fuels arc reduced remarkably in comparison with commercial gas oil, that is, it can supply oxygen component sufficiently at high loads and speeds in diesel engines.<br/> The results of tins study show that smoke emissions of the oxygenates blended fuel are exhausted lower than that of the diesel fuel at all experimental region in direct injection diesel engine, that is, Smoke emission from diesel engines was strongly depended on oxygen content in fuel regardless of operating condition.<br/> <br/> <br/>

In this paper, the effect of oxygen component in fuel on the exhaust emissions has been investigated for direct injection diesel engine. It tested to estimate change of engine performance and exhaust emission characteristics for the commercial diesel fuel and oxygenated blended fuel which has four kinds of mixed ratio. And, the effects of exhaust gas recirculation(EGR) on the characteristics of NOx emission and brake specific fuel consumption rate have been investigated, too. Dimethyl carbonate(DMC) contains oxygen component 53.3% in itself, and it is a kind of effective oxygenated fuel of carbonate group that the smoke emission of DMC is reduced remarkably compared with commercial diesel fuel, that is, it can supply oxygen component sufficiently at higher loads and speeds in diesel engine.<br/> It was found that simultaneous reduction of smoke and NOx was achieved with oxygenated fuel and EGR method.

In this paper, the effects of oxygen component in oxygenated blended fuels on the exhaust emissions have been investigated for direct injection diesel engine. It tested t estimate changes of engine performance and exhaust emission characteristics for the commercial diesel fuel and oxygenated blended fuels which have four kinds of fuel on DGM (diethylene glycol dimethyl ether), MTBE (methyl tert-butyl ether), Dimethyl carbonate (DMC) and EGBE(ethylene glycol mono-n-butyl ether) and various mixed rates. And, the effects of exhaust gas recirculation(EGR) on the characteristics of NOx emission and brake specific fuel consumption rate also have been investigated. The results of this study show that individual hydrocarbons as well as total hydrocarbon of oxygenated blended fuels are reduced remarkably compared with diesel fuel. It was found that simultaneous reduction of smoke and NOx emission was achieved with oxygenated blended fuels and cooled EGR method.

Although the demands for diesel engine is increased, our world is faced with very serious problems related to the air pollution due to the exhaust emissions of the diesel engine.<br/> In this study, the potential possibility of oxygenated fuel such as Methyl tertiary butyl ether (MTBE) was investigated for the sake of smoke reduction from diesel engine.<br/> Although MTBE has been used as a fuel additive blended into unleaded gasoline to decrease carbon monoxide emissions, the study of application for diesel engine was incomplete.<br/> Because MTBE include oxygen content approximately 18.15%, it is a kind of oxygenated fuel that the smoke emission of MTBE is reduced remarkably in comparison with commercial diesel fuel, that is, it can supply oxygen component sufficient at high load and speed in diesel engine.<br/> The results of this study show two conclusions.<br/> I. The smoke emission of the MTBE blended fuel is exhausted lower than that of the diesel fuel in all experimental region.<br/> 2. Smoke emission from diesel engines was strongly depended on oxygen content in fuel regardless of operating condition.<br/>
Seoul-10모드에서 바이오디젤유 5%를 적용시 CRDI 디젤기관의 내구특성

An CRDI diesel engine used to commercial vehicle was fueled with diesel fuel and 5% biodiesel blended fuel(BDF 5%) with Seoul-10 mode in excess of 150 hours. Engine dynamometer testing was completed at regularly scheduled intervals to monitor the engine performance and exhaust emissions. The engine performance and exhaust emissions were sampled at 1 hour interval for analysis. To check the engine parts(valve, injector), the engine was inspected after test. It was concluded that there was no unusual deterioration of the engine, or any unusual changes in engine power and exhaust emissions in spite of operation of 150 hours with BDF 5%.

Our environment is faced with serious problems related to the air pollution from automobiles in these days. In particular, the exhaust emissions of diesel engine are recognized main cause which influenced environment strong. In this study, the potential possibility of biodiesel fuel was investigated as an alternative fuel for a naturally aspirated IDI diesel engine. The smoke emission of biodiesel fuel was reduced remarkably in comparison with diesel fuel, that is, it was reduced approximately 36% at 2000rpm, full load. But, power, torque and brake specific energy consumption didn't have no large differences. But, NOx emission of biodiesel fuel was increased compared with commercial diesel fuel. Also, the effects of exhaust gas recirculation(EGR) on the characteristics of NOx emission has been investigated. It was found that simultaneous reduction of smoke and NOx was achieved with biodiesel fuel(20vol-%) and cooled EGR method(10~15%).
