This paper studies on the dynamic characteristics of proportional directional control valve. An experimental apparatus including hydraulic pump, analog amplifier card, linear variable differential transformer(LVDT) and data aquisition system was set up. In order to improve the dynamic characteristics of proportional directional control valve, feed-forward controller, modified PI-D controller and input shaping filter were applied. Based on experimental results, it was confirmed that step response and frequency response of the proportional directional control valve can be improved largely by adopting the input shaping filter

In the study, a control strategy using a feedback linearization compensator and a disturbance observer was suggested and applied to the synchronization control of two hydraulic cylinders. The hydraulic system consists of a proportional directional control valve with overlap characteristic near the neutral position, a conventional hydraulic cylinder and an external load. The control performances of the system were verified through numerical simulations. From the simulations, it was ascertained that excellent control performances were obtained with the suggested control strategy.

Physicochemicah microbiological and sensory characteristics of chicken thighs and wings of foreign and domestic origin were investigated to provide the basic information of quality. In comparison of the proximate analysis of compositions among the same part of different origin, AT(American thigh meats) showed the highest content in the crude protein and ash. KBW(domestic wing meats produced at A company) showed the lowest moisture contents, and the highest protein contents (P $lt; 0.001). In color, KAT(domestic thigh meats purchased at Korean traditional market) showed higher a value than the others but the lowest pH value. AT and AW( American wing meats) had the highest TBA values and the lowest level of total aerobic bacteria. In the descriptive analysis for raw meat, KBT(domestic thigh meats produced at A company) was given the highest acceptability score(P $lt; 0.05). The cooked American thigh and wing meats obtained the highest score in off-flavor and the lowest score in acceptability.

A coupled analysis of rod growth model using vector calculus and heat transfer model using boundary fitted coordinate has been formulated. Temperature profile in a spray formed rod of 2024 aluminum has been calculated by the proposed model. At initial stage of spray forming. the temperature of substrate and preform increases rapidly. And then temperature of the vertex point is kept as about 525℃ During the cooling stage after the spray farming steps, temperature of all points inside rod decrease and the cooling rate of surface is higher than that inside the rod.
