이 글은 광주 화교 3세인 취○○ 씨의 명절과 제사 음식을 통해 화교 정체성의 형성과 변화를 살펴보는 것을 목적으로 한다. 취○○ 씨는 춘졔(설날)를 가장 중요한 명절로 간주하고 전통적인 상차림 방법에 따라 상을 차리고 쟈오쯔(물만두) 및 훠궈와 같은 산동식 설날 요리를 준비한다. 위안바오나 홍바오와 같은 전통 관습을 지키고 주관하는 데 중요한 역할을 한다. 중추졔(추석)와 돤우졔(단오절) 풍습은 중쯔(찹쌀떡)와 웨빙(월병)을 사 먹는 정도로 유지된다. 음력 10월 1일에 조상묘를 참배하는 풍습은 납골당에 가서 꽃을 바치는 정도로 단순화되었다. 전통 음식문화는 화교의 정체성을 재현하는 데 매우 중요한 역할을 하지만 현대화 사회에서 단순화되는 경향이 뚜렷하다. This article aims to examine the formation and change of Overseas Chinese identity through the holidays and ritual food of Mrs. Chu, a third-generation overseas Chinese in Gwangju. Mrs. Cu regards Chunjie (Lunar New Year’s Day) as the most important holiday, sets the table according to the traditional table setting method, and prepares Shandong-style New Year’ s dishes such as jiaozi and hot pot. She plays a key role in keeping and transending traditional customs such as yuanbao and hongbao. The customs of Zhongqiujie(Lunar Thanksgiving day) and Duanwujie are maintained only by eating commercial zhongzi(sticky rice cake) and yuebing(moon cake). The custom of visiting ancestors’ tombs on October first of the lunar calendar was simplified to the point of preparing flowers for the charnel house. Traditional food culture plays a very important role in reproducing Chinese Korean identity, but it has a clear tendency to be simplified in a modernized society.
