2004년 10월, 크라운 제과는 해태제과식품 투자회사인 Korea Confectionary Holdings NV와 인수 계약을 체결하였다. 이 당시 추정된 총 인수 비용은 5,500억 원에서 6,500억 원으로서, 향후 실사 작업을 거쳐 구체적인 금액을 결정하기로 하였다. 이 인수 프로젝트의 주목할 점은 매출과 자산의 규모에 있어서 피인수사가 인수사보다 2배 이상 크다는 것이다. 그래서 인수사의 자금 조달이 인수 프로젝트 성공의 관건이었다. 즉, 본 사례는 크라운제과의 해태제과인수 과정을 분석함으로써 기업인수의 전략적 정당성과 인수가격의 적정성을 점검하고, 구체적인 자금조달 방안을 설명하여 국내기업의 기업인수시 자금조달의 구체적인 사례를 제시하였다. October 2004, Crown Confectionery Co. has signed an agreement with Korea confectionary Holdings NV to acquire HaiTai Confectionery & Foods Co. At that time, the estimated total acquisition cost was in the range between 550 billion won and 650 billion won, even though there is a room for adjustment depending on the results of duediligence. The size of acquisition is over two times greater than the size of Crown’s assets and revenues and the funding for the acquisition of the Haitai Confectionery Food Co. was the biggest stumbling block in the acquisition. By examining this case, we are finding strategic justification and checking the adequacy of the purchase price. Furthermore, we show a funding method a domestic company can use by describing the specific financing case.
흰쥐 뇌의 측중격핵에서 망간에 의한 산화적 손상에 관한 연구

N/A This study was carried out to identify the effect of oxidative stress on the pathogenesis of manganese intoxication. Five rats in experimental group were given with MnC1_2 intraperitoneally for 4 weeks(4 ㎎/㎏ once daily, 5 days per week) and another five rats for control group were given with normal saline. In experimental group, manganese concentrations increased significantly in nucleus accumbens by 142% (p<0.05), SOD activities increased significantly by 124%(p<0.01), and MDA concentrations increased significantly 148%(p<0.05) compared with control group. Among fatty acids, total n-6 polyunsaturated fatty acids(PUFAs) increased significantly by 231%(p<0.05) compared with control group. Arachidonic acids(AA) increased by 224%(p<0.05), and these increase were composed mostly of n-6 polyunsaturated fatty acids(PUFA). Among n-3 PUFAs except linolenic acids, eicosapentanoic acid(EPA) decreased significantly by 38%(p<0.01) and docosahexanoic acids(DHA) decreased by 30% (p<0.05) compared with control group. Our results suggest that the oxygen free radicals produced by manganese may cause compositional changes of fatty acids in nucleus accumbens of the rat. Characteristics of fatty acids compositional changes by manganese were the decrease of EPAs and DHAs(n-3 PUFAs), and increase of AAs(n-6 PUFAs). These changes with the increase of MDA, suggest that manganese neurotoxicity is caused by lipid peroxidation mediated with oxygen free radicals, especially superoxide radicals.

When a shock wave arrives at a duct, an impulsive wave is discharged from the duct exit and causes serious noise and vibration problems. In the current study, the characteristics of the impulsive wave discharged from a partial closed duct exit is numerically investigated using a CFD method. The Yee-Roe- Davis’s total variation diminishing(TVD) scheme is used to solve the axisymmetric, unsteady, compressible Euler equations. With several partial closed duct exits, the Mach number of the incident shock wave M<SUB>s</SUB> and the distance L/D between the duct exit and a flat plate are varied in the range of M<SUB>s</SUB> = 1.01 ~ 1.50 and L/D = 1.0 ~ 4.0, respectively. The results obtained show that the magnitude of the impulsive wave impinging upon the flat plate strongly depends upon M<SUB>s</SUB>, L/D and the partial closure of duct exit. The impulsive wave on the flat plate can be considerably alleviated by the partial closure of duct exit and, thus, the present method can be a passive control for the impulsive wave.
복소유전율 측정용 개방단말 동축선 프로브 제작오차의 영향에 관한 FDTD 모의계산

umerical simulations are performed to estimate how strongly the manufacturing error of an open-ended coaxial probe affects its measured complex permittivity of a contacted medium. The reflection coefficients of several dielectric materials contacted with an open-ended coaxial probe are calculated by employing the FDTD method. And then those complex permittivities are reconstructed by applying the calculated reflection coefficients into a new imaginary transmission-line model, which reveals more physically meaningful than the conventional model. It is found that the reconstructed complex permittivities suffer from significant error in spite of a slight imperfection of open-ended coaxial probe. 개방단말 동축선 프로브의 제작오차가 프로브에 접촉된 매질의 복소유전율 측정에 얼마나 강한 영향을 미치는 지를 살펴보기 위한 수치계산을 수행하였다. 몇 가지 종류의 유전체를 접촉시킨 개방단말 동축선 프로브의 반사계수는 FDTD 방법을 적용해 수치계산 하였다. 이러한 계산된 반사계수들을 새로운 가상의 전송선 모델에 적용시켜 복소유전율로 확산하였는데, 본 논문에서 사용한 방법은 기존의 방법보다 물리적으로 더 의미가 있는 방법이다. 개방단말 프로브에 약간의 제작오차가 있을 때에도 복소유전율에는 큰 오차가 발생함을 알 수 있었다.
