The particle-laden gas flow after combustion of industrial facilities and plants is transferred with the velocity of 16~40 ㎧. And the abrasion occurs at the curved pipe due to collision and friction between particles and pipe wall. In order to eliminate this defect, the cuπed pipe has been designed to form the vortex flow field in the lateral part where the flow direction is drastically converted. Analysis on the fluid-structure interaction was carried out on curved pipe angle of 45° and 90°. The governing equations for three-dimensional turbulent flow fields are discretized by the finite volume method and solved by the SIMPLE method. Results show that the designed model has better durability and reliability than the previous ones.
