다단계 상호연결 네트워크에 기반한 입력버퍼형 오류허용 ATM 스위치의 설계 및 성능 평가

본 논문에서는 다단계상호연결 네트워크에 기반한 입력버퍼 구조의 ATM 스위치에 관해서 언급한다. 제안된 방법은 HOL 블록킹으로 인해 균일 트래픽(uniform traffic) 하에서 최대 약 58.6%의 처리율을 넘지 못하는 문제를 해결 할 수 있는 방법을 제시하며, 또한 오류허용 기능을 확장시키기 위하여 베이스라인 네트워크에서 버디 연결 매핑 및 제한연결 매핑 특성을 이용한 다중경로를 제공할 수 있는 버퍼 기법에 관하여 언급한다. 시뮬레이션에 의한 성능 평가 결과, 기존 방식과 비교하여 좋은 처리율과 셀 손실율을 보였으며, 더욱이 오류 스위치의 증가에도 불구하고 처리율의 수준은 적정한 셀 지연 범위 내에서 유지될 수 있음을 보여주고 있다.

Coleridge 의 'Conversation Poems'소고

Coleridge의 시를 말할 때 우리는 흔히 그의 'super naturalism'을 생각한다. 즉 그의 대표작으로는 "Ancient Mariner"Christabel""Kubla Khan"등을 치고, 이들 작품에 있어서의 '기이함''공포스러움''신비로움'등을 Coleridge 시의 특질이라고 일컫는다. 그러나 우리가 여기서 고찰하고자 하는 바는 Coleridge 시에서의 'super naturalism'이 아닌 또 다른 면모이다. Coleridge의 시에서 'super naturalism'이 아닌 다른 면모를 찾자면, 우선 일상 생활에서 비롯되는 자신의 감정을 솔직히 토로한 인간적인 면모를 생각해야 한다. 여기서 해당하는 작품들은 G.M.Harper에 의해 'Conversation Poems'라고 불리어진 바 있으며 그 성격상 '우정과 사랑과 그리고 절망의 시'라고 불릴만한 것들이다. 이 작품들을 바르게 이해하기 위해서는, Coleridge가 이것들을 쓰면서 어떤 사람들을 염두에 두고 있었는지 그리고 그의 일생은 어떠했는지를 우선적으로 알아야 한다. A.R.Jones는 'Conversation Poem'의 성격에 대하여 다음과 같이 말한다.

Donne’s poetry was a good example to the modernists in the early 20th century. It is because of his peculiar imagery which was originated from his wide knowledge of new science of those renaissance days. All of the peculiar imagery in Donne’s poems are related with his curiosity for the newly found science and geography. For example, the passion and desire for women are expressed with every image using the new science things. The telescope, compass, magnet and the alchemistic knowledge are good devices for his poems: these new things were revived in his poetry as good images. In his love poems he does not moan or admire like the other sonnet poets of Elizabethan period. He persuades women with logical dialogues and uses scientific things to express his emotion. His poetic dictions and phrases are colloquial and they are similar to the dialogues of a drama. As if the heroes of Shakespeare talk on the stage, Donne’s poetic speakers persuade their lovers with logics. As a conclusion, we can tell Donne a poet not of heart but of logical mind. Imagery from his logical mind and colloquial expressions made Donne the best example that in the early 20th century the modernists imitated.

생명의 환희 : 예이츠에 비춰 본 홉킨즈의 자연시* Hopkins's Nature Poems Compared to Yeats

The nature poems of G. M. Hopkins is generally characterized as a sensitive observation on the natural objects. But the most distinctive character of his poems is in its motion and trembling. It is related with his peculiar poetic concept 'inscape' and 'instress.' We can see too many proves of this moving in Hopkins's poetry. In his nature poems, every tree, spring water and grass is alive. Even the cloud is described as a moving life force in his diary or poems. It is surprising to be able to see so many life forces in one poet's poems. This life force is more distinguished in his poem "The Windhover" or other poems of animal. And its climax, we can see in his poem "Harry, the Ploughman." In this poem we can see wonderful observation on the body of a strong farmer. He observed even the minute motion of muscles one by one and he seems to be glad to see this manly body. Hopkins has an inclination of the socialist and he liked more the labouring men than the cultured weak people. Another example is Tom in "Tom's Garland" and the blacksmith in "Felix Randal." This is in striking contrast to Yeats's early nature poems which are considered as a dreamy poetic world. Yeats was too devoted to one woman's love and his early poems are a kind of escape from this world. His nature is a retirement place from this world. Contrary to this, Hopkins's nature is a life itself. For him the whole world and nature are a great and perfect work of God. And he caught its highest moment in its motion, that is inscape.

홉킨즈와 테드 휴즈 시에서의 원시성

The poems of G. M. Hopkins and Ted Hughes are good examples of poetic expression of the primitivism. At first, we can read every creature is wriggling and moving endlessly, as vitality of lives, in Hopkins’ poems. His living things are dynamic and full of energy and, strangely, his poems are telling not female but only male. Even those males are not aristocratic or intelligent people but low classed physical workers whose bodies are strong and muscular. This can be understood as Hopkins loves a kind of primitive health which is not decayed from the complicated civilization. In Ted Hughes’ poems, we can also find the similar dynamic movements in which his animals are very impressive. He likes to express the animals in their movement, energetically and endlessly. The horse, badge, jaguar and even thistle are good examples which represent the primitive energy of nature. This is telling his preference for the primitivity, which is similar to Hopkins. These two poets are naturalists and Romantists, who loves the beautiful nature of Britain island, that of Yorkshire for Ted Hughes, Wales for Hopkins. They could not be satisfied in only looking at it but tried to feel it with all their senses.

This study was to investigate the basic research about Adriamycin production from Streptomyces peucetius var. caesius. sireptococcus pyogenes(YUFE 2204) was sensitive against Adriamycin and its MIC value was 3. 125㎍/ml. Several mutants were isolated by UV-light. Among 325 mutants, Streptomyces peucetius var. caesius YS-107 was showed highest productivity of Adriamycin.

Pseudomonas sp. J-19가 생산하는 Alkaline Lipase의 정제와 특성

토양으로부터 분리한 알칼리 내성 및 linear alkylbenzene sulfonate 내성인 lipase 생산균주를 동정하여 Pseudomonas sp. J-19로 명명하였다. 호알칼리성 lipase는 ammonium sulfate 침전, DEAE-Sephadex와 Sephadex G-100 column chromatography로 정제하였고, 정제효소의 비활성도는 35 unit/㎎ protein, 수율은 17%이었다. 정제효소는 polyacrylamide disc gel 전기영동에서 단일 band를 나타내었고, Sephadex G100 gel filtration과 SDS-polyacrylamide gel 전기영동에 의하여 추정된 분자량은 36,000이었다. 정제효소의 최적 pH는 10.0, 최적온도는 30℃이었다. 정제효소의 활성은 0.1% linear alkylbenzene sulfonate 첨가에 의하여 2배 증가되었고, 0.05% Tide에 의하여 2.5배 증가되었다. 정제효소는 pH 8.0∼10.0, 40℃ 이하에서 안정하였다. A strain J-19 was isolated from soil, produced lipase which has resistant against alkali and linear alkylbenzene sulfonate. The strain was identified as Pseudomonas sp.. The enzyme was purified by ammonium sulfate precipitation, DEAE-Sephadex G-100 column chromatography. The specific activity of the purified enzyme was 35 unit/㎎ protein and the yield of enzyme activity was 17%. The purified enzyme showed a single band on polyacrylamide disc gel electrophoresis. Molecular weight of the purified enzyme was estimated about 36,000 by Sephadex G-100 gel filtration and SDS-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis. The optimum pH and temperature were pH 10.0 and 30℃, respectively. Activity of the purified enzyme was increased 2-fold by the addition of 0.1% linear alkylbenzene sulfonate and 2.5-fold by the addition of 0.05% Tide. This enzyme remained stable from pH 8.0 to 10.0 and stable up to 40℃.
