The failures such as wear of brush, bearing defect, motor short and open caused by the electrical and mechanical operating for low and high actions of wiper motor. In this research, we have qualitatively selected the efficient test items through the analysis of the life and potential failures of wiper motor. The failures of wiper motor are related closely to the wiper system. So, wiper motor itself requires an estimation of life in order to operate the system safely. We have tested six wiper motors. Our research has applied operating torque of low and high speed for wiper motor, simultaneously for the life testing. The result is established by employing the weibull plot and compared the predicted life of wiper motor to the experimental result.

In recent automotive industry, vehicle weight can be reduced by one-step forming of tailored blanks welded with two or more sheets of metal blanks. Tailored blank(TB) welding is a production method for blanks involving welding together materials of different quality, thickness, and coating, and has proved popular in fabrication automotive parts. This paper deals with the forming characteristics of mash seam welded tailored blanks. Mash seam welded blanks of different thickness combinations were prepared, and tensile, hardness, and erichsen tests were done. The erichsen test has been generally used to evaluate the weldability or formability of MS TB welds, and the failure shapes observed in this test. Also, the fused nugget in weld bead is observed and it is produced differences in performance characteristics such as forming, fatigue, and surface appearance. The material used in the present work was hot-dipped zinc coating sheet(SGARC 35) of thickness in the 1.6㎜/1.8㎜. The weld parameters of mash seam are the electrode force, welding speed, current and sheet overlap. This work is shown the effect of the electrode force.
자동차용 송풍기 모터의 신뢰성 수명 평가 설계 및 평가

Reliability of automotive parts has been one of the most interesting fields in the automotive industry. Especially, blower motor driving blower for automobiles is important part because of sustaining grateful environment inside the car for the driver and the passengers. It is the small dc motor. Therefore, we have dealt with the reliability life test procedure of blower motor. The failures such as wear-out of brush, bearing damage, motor coil burnout are caused by the electrical and mechanical operating blower motor. In this research, we have qualitatively selected the efficient test items through the analysis of the life and potential failures of blower motor. So, blower motor itself requires an estimation of life causing failure of brush wear out in order to operate the system safely. We have carried out life test for blower motors. The result is established by employing the weibull plot. We calculated the life of blower motor to the experimental result.
