거부민감성과 데이트폭력 가해 행동 : 경계선 성격특성 매개효과를 중심으로

본 연구는 대학생들의 데이트폭력 가해 행동과 거부민감성 관계에서 경계선 성격특성의 매개 효과를 검증하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 이를 위해 4년제 대학에 재학 중인 남자 대학생 79명, 여자 대학생 103명을 대상으로 거부민감성, 경계선 성격특성, 데이트폭력 가해 행동을 각각 Rejection Sensitive Questionnaire(RSQ), PAI-BOR, the Revised Conflict Tactics Scales(CTS2)를 사용하여 측정하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS Process Macro를 통해 경계선 성격특성의 매개 효과를 검증하였다. 분석결과, 거부 민감성이 대학생의 데이트폭력 가해 행동에 미치는 직접 효과는 유의하지 않는 것으로 확인되었다. 반면에 거부민감성은 경계선 성격특성에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 거부민감성이 경계선 성격특성을 매개하여 데이트폭력 가해 행동에 미치는 간접효과는 유의한 것으로 확인되었다. 따라서 거부민감성이 데이트폭력 가해 행동에 직접적인 효과를 미치기보다 경계선 성격특성을 통해 가해 행동이 일어날 수 있음을 발견하였다. 마지막으로 본 연구의 의의와 제한점, 추후 연구에 대해 논의하였다. The purpose of this current study was to examine the relationship between rejection sensitivity and perpetration of dating violence among college students and the mediating effect of borderline personality features on this relationship. A total sample of 250 college students completed self-report measures of Rejection Sensitivity Questionnaire (RSQ), PAI-BOR, and the Revised Conflict Tactics Scales (CTS2). The collected data was analyzed using the PROCESS macro for SPSS to verify the mediating effects of borderline personality features on the relationship between refection sensitivity did not have direct effects on perpetration of dating violence and that borderline personality features had direct effect on perpetration of dating violence, thus demonstrating that borderline personality features had indirect effect on the relationship between rejection sensitivity and perpetration of dating violence. Implications of these findings and future research are discussed.
