In this paper, I use KLIPS(Korea Labor and Income Panel Study) data to analyze the labor market outcomes of low-income earners. Unlike previous studies, in this study I analyze transitions from low-income to not only non-low-income states, but also to unemployed and not-economically -active states. I also analyze transitions from unemployed or not-economically-active to low-income and non-low-income states. Empirical results show that, compared to non-low-income individuals, those in low-income states tend to have a higher probability of transitions to unemployed or not -economically-active states. I also find that once these individuals enter unemployed or not- economically-active states, they face greater difficulty in re-gaining work. Although individuals who experience repeated spells of low income account for only a small fraction of all individuals who experience low income, from a cross-sectional perspective they account for the majority of all low-income individuals. I find that individuals who had experienced involuntary job separation from their last job have a higher probability of experiencing transitions from low-income to unemployed or not-economically-active states, rather than to non-low-income states. Finally, from random effect result, I find that the duration of low-income states tends to reduce the probability of transitions to non-low-income states. Likewise, the duration of unemployed or not-economically-active states reduces the probability of finding work.

25~39세 연령대를 중심으로 2000년대 성별 임금 격차를 분석한 결과 성별 고용률 격차가 감소하면서 임금격차도 감소하는 추세가 나타났다는 것을 발견하였다. 하지만, 선택편의를 교정할 경우 임금격차가 동 기간에 증가하거나 적어도 감소하지 않은 것으로 분석되었다. 선택편의 교정을 위해 헤크만 2단계 모형과 임퓨테이션 방법을 활용하였다. 이와 같은 결과는 이 연령대에서 나타난 성별 임금격차의 감소가 상당부분 잠재 임금이 높은 고학력 고숙련 여성들의 경제활동 활성화에 기인하는 것일 가능성이 높으며, 따라서 차별 감소와 같은 모든 여성들의 전반적인 경제적 지위 향상에 기인하는 것은 아니라는 점을 시사한다. This study analyzes the gender gap in the wages of people of ages 25 to 39 during the 2000`s. I find that the gender wage gap decreases along with the gap in the employment rate. However, repeating the analysis while taking sample selection into account reveals that the gender wage gap has increased or at least remained non-decreasing. The latter analysis was conducted using the Heckman 2-stage process as well as imputation methods. The empirical results suggest that the apparent decrease in the wage gap may be due to the entry of high-skill / high-education women with accordingly high reservation wages into the labor market, rather than to less discrimination or other overall improvements in womens` economic status.

The Early Reemployment Bonus System is one of the characteristics of the Korean Employment Insurance System which focuses preventing abuse of unemployment benefits and encouraging active job search and participation in vocational training of the recipients of unemployment benefits. This paper analyzes the effects of the Early Reemployment Bonus System on activating the job search efforts of the recipients of unemployment benefits and thereby encouraging early reemployment in Korea. The data used in this analysis is the follow-up survey on recipients of unemployment benefits done by the Korea Labor Institute in 2004. Those who knew the Early Reemployment Bonus System out of recipients of unemployment benefits in the period from March to May in 2003 responded that the Early Reemployment Bonus System had to some extent positive effect in inducing their active job search activities. The results of statistical analysis also showed the Early Reemployment Bonus System significantly reduced the unemployment spell of the recipients of the Early Reemployment Bonus.

In this paper, we aim to develop various nuclide analysis systems for moving objects. The nuclide analysis system consists of nuclide analysis (NaI (Ti) Scintillator) and 1 channel MCA Board. Many nuclide analysis algorithms have different bandwidths according to different nuclides. When compared with the spectrum in the background, it is judged that the nucleus exists if the energy level is higher than the background state in the corresponding bandwidth. In this case, the threshold value, which is a criterion to be determined at this time, may be changed in accordance with the total amount of the nuclides, thereby reducing the false detection rate. As a result of various radionuclide tests, discrimination of the radionuclides by the threshold value was performed smoothly in the <SUP>60</SUP>Co region and <SUP>137</SUP>Cs region. Thus, the utility of the proposed system has been demonstrated.

In this paper, we propose an algorithm that corrects the acceleration value by calculating the gravity acceleration value applied to each axis by using the angle value according to the gravity acceleration. First, acceleration and angular velocity are measured using a 3 - axis acceleration gyro sensor. Second, the measured value of the 3-axis acceleration gyro sensor integrates the angular velocity and measures how tilted it is in real time.Third, after measuring the angle, the acceleration must be subtracted from the gravitational acceleration. At this time, the degree of influence of gravitational acceleration varies depending on the inclined angle, so it should be subtracted in consideration of the angle.Fourth, integrating the value obtained by subtracting the value of gravitational acceleration in consideration of the angle makes it possible to obtain the speed value having the direction, not the speed value having only the size. Experimental results confirm that the acceleration value obtained by subtracting the gravitational acceleration from the measured value of the 3-axis acceleration gyro sensor and the speed value obtained by integrating the measured value can obtain the normal speed value, proving the efficiency of the proposed algorithm in this paper.
