코로나바이러스감염증-19 환자의 간호기록 양과 중증도 간 관련성

본 연구의 목적은 코로나19로 입원한 환자에게 작성된 간호기록 양과 환자 중증도 간 관계를 파악하는 데 있다. 2020년 1월 1일부터 2022년 6월 30일까지 서울 소재 일개 상급종합병원 코로나19 전담 치료 병동에 입원한 환자 650명의 간호기록과 환자 중증도 분류 서식 내 데이터를 추출하였다. 재원 기간 내 작성된 표준간호진술문의 총 개수와 간호기록 횟수를 재원일수로 나누어 하루 평균 간호진술문 개수와 간호기록 횟수를 산출하였고, 재원 기간 내 환자의 평균 중증도 점수와의 관계를 피어슨 상관계수를 통해 파악하였다. 중증도 그룹 간 간호진술문 개수 및 간호기록 횟수차이는 Tukey’s HSD 검정을 통해 확인하였다. 연구 결과 코로나19 환자의 간호진술문 양과 환자 중증도 점수 간에는 비교적 높은 상관관계(r=0.47), 간호기록의 횟수와 환자 중증도 점수 간에는 낮은 상관관계(r=0.37)가 있었다. 중증도 그룹별로, 3군과 4군에서 간호진술문 개수 및 간호기록 횟수의 유의한 차이가 있었고 특히, ‘호흡’관련 문제를 나타내는 진술문이 3군보다 4군에서 많이 작성되었음을 확인하였다. 본 연구가 간호기록 양과 환자 중증도 간 관련성을 보임으로써 코로나19 환자의 결과를 예측하는데 간호기록의 활용 가능성을 기대해본다. This study explores the relationship between the amount of nursing records and acuity level in COVID-19 patients. Nursing records and acuity level data of 650 COVID-19 patients were extracted from the clinical data warehouse of a tertiary general hospital in South Korea. Average numbers were obtained by dividing the daily total number of nursing statements and the frequency of nursing documentation by the length of stay. Subsequently, the relationships between the average numbers and the patient’s acuity score were identified by applying Pearsons correlation analysis. A relatively high correlation (r=0.47) was obtained between the number of nursing statements and acuity scores, whereas the frequency of nursing documentation and acuity scores had a low correlation (r=0.37). In particular, there was a significant difference in the number of nursing statements and the frequency of nursing documentation between acuity levels 3 and 4. We further determined that nursing statements representing respiratory problem were recorded more in acuity level 4 than in level 3. This study shows a significant relationship between the amount of nursing records and patient acuity level. Our results indicate the probability of using nursing records to predict the outcomes of patients with COVID-19.

Purpose: The primary prevention for cervical cancer the human papilloma virus (HPV) vaccination has been available in South Korea and its importance has been emphasized publicly. The purpose of this study was to investigate the knowledge regarding HPV vaccination and identify the factors associated with HPV vaccination in female university students. Methods: A sample of 200 women among university students in Seoul was asked to answer a questionnaire on HPV-related knowledge and attitude and influencing factors on HPV vaccination. Results: Among the respondents 12.0% were HPV vaccinated. Overall HPV-related knowledge was low and knowledge was not different between the vaccinated and unvaccinated groups. The vaccinated group demonstrated a higher score on the knowledge about the place where people could receive HPV vaccination and the cost of the vaccination than that of the unvaccinated group. The major influencing factor on vaccination was the parent's recommendation and the major barrier for vaccination was the cost of the vaccination. Conclusion: A broadened public campaign is recommended to increase the knowledge and positive attitude towards HPV vaccination for university female students as well as their parents.
