본 연구는 종이를 사용한 작품 제작에 관한 논문이다. 가장 지속가능한 소재로 확인되는 종이를 작품 제작에 활용한 방법 및 사례 분석과 심미적 표현의 가능성을 확인하고 작품제작의 과정을 탐 구하는 데 목적을 두고 있다. 가구 작품을 주로 해 왔던 작가로서 원목의 사용은 지속 가능하지 못하다는 논점을 갖게 되었다. 반면 나무와 비슷한 성질을 띠고 있는 종이는 매우 지속 가능하다 는 아이러니를 확인하고 가구 작품으로 종이의 가능성을 실험하고자 한다. 종이는 수 세기 동안 다양한 분야에 사용됐으나, 나무의 섬유질로 만들어진다는 이유로 환경을 파괴한다고 여겨져 왔다. 그러나 기술 개발을 통한 생산방식의 변화와 높은 재활용률로 환경 파괴 와 화석연료의 소비 없이 생산되는 지속가능한 소재임이 확인되어, 환경을 생각하는 현시대의 제 품 소재로 적합하다. 따라서 종이를 사용하여 목재의 심미적 요소를 표현하며, 기능적 완성을 이룬 작품의 사례를 통해 가능성을 확인하고 작품에 적용하기 위한 논거를 입증한다. 이후 연구자는 롤지를 이용한 작품 제작 과정을 통하여 종이의 물리적 특성과 심미적 표현의 가능성을 확인하려 한다. 이는 향후 후학들에게 종이를 이용한 작품연구를 위한 제작 기술 및 정 보를 제공하게 될 것으로 예상한다. This study is a paper on making works using paper. The purpose of this study is to identify the most sustainable paper used for making artworks and to analyze the case, the possibility of aesthetic expressions of paper, and to explore the process of production. As a writer who has been mainly engaged in furniture works, it has been pointed out that the use of wood is unsustainable. On the other hand, I would like to confirm the irony that paper with similar properties to wood is very sustainable, and try to test the possibility of paper as a furniture piece. Paper has been used in various fields for centuries, but it has been believed to destroy the environment because it is made of wood fibers. However, it has been confirmed that it is a sustainable material produced without environmental destruction and fossil fuel consumption due to the change of production mode through technology development and high recycling rate. Therefore, paper is used to express the aesthetic elements of the wood, and the possibilities are confirmed through examples of works that have been completed and proved the arguments for applying them to works. After that, I try to confirm the possibility of physical characteristics and aesthetic expression through the process of making works using roll paper. It is expected that this will provide materials and techniques for researching works using paper.

지역특성에 따른 원도심 재생사업의 주민참여 방식에 대한 연구

도시간의 불균형과 도시정책 패러다임의 전환에 따라 최근 도시재생사업이 활발하게 진행되고 있다. 인천시 도시재생사업은 2015년 이후 원도심 활성화를 위해 지자체별로 추진되고 있으며, 마을주민이 주체가 되어 문제점을 도출하고 해결과정으로 주민의 적극적인 참여를 중요시 하고 있다. 본 연구는 지역특성을 살린 주민참여방식을 통해 지역의 문제점과 현황을 파악하고, 지역에 적합한 차별화된 디자인 기본방향을 도출하기 위한 선행 연구이다. 본 연구의 목적은 인천시 원도심 활성화 사업을 위한 효율적인 주민참여 방식을 통해 디자인 방향을 제시하고, 향후 실시될 구체적인 디자인을 제언하는 데 있다. 본 연구는 인천시 원도심 디자인 활성화 5차 사업 중 연구대상지인 미추홀구 용일자유시장과 연수구 함박마을 2곳을 선정하였다. 주민참여 방식은 관련전문가와 지역주민이 초기단계에서부터 함께 참여하였으며, 총 다섯 단계로 나누어 실시되었다. 1차 단계는 주민참여 워크숍, 2차 단계에서는 원도심 재생사업에 대한 이해 및 주민역량강화 교육과정에서 문제점을 공유하고, 주민들의 요구파악을 위한 맵핑 및 인터뷰를 실시하였다. 3차~4차 계획에서는 아이디어 도출과 합의 과정을 거쳐, 마지막 5차 단계에서는 지역적 특성에 맞는 디자인 방향을 위한 도출 결과를 제시하였다. 본 연구결과, 용일자유시장은 청년작가활동중심의 문화형 재래시장 활성화 방안을 도출하였고, 연수구 함박마을은 다문화마을로서 문화소통 및 범죄예방과 유니버설을 기본 방향으로 한 디자인을 도출하였다. 본 연구는 지역 재생사업 및 주민참여를 토석으로 하는 지역 개발의 기본 방향에 부합되는 효율적인 워크숍 방안에 대한 정보를 공유함으로서 긍정적 문제해결의 기초자료로 활용되기를 기대한다. Urban regeneration has progressed actively in recent years due to an imbalance among cities and the transition of the urban policy paradigm. Urban regeneration projects to revitalize city centers have been promoted by local governments since 2015, and Residents identify and solve problems themselves, and the process of the active participation of the residents is emphasized. In this study, we selected two old urban areas as the fifth project for the design revitalization of the old city of Incheon . Residents, service design specialists and managers conducted a five-residency participation workshop. Throughout the first and second stages of understanding, the community engagement workshop was held with the understanding of regional problems and local residents during the initial urban regeneration project and the training process for enhancing residents capacity, and after coming up with ideas through the 3rd and 5th stages, we presented design direction according to regional characteristics through the process of consensus. A community council was formed to create a sustainable village(Local resident, Administrative agency) Finally, we have recognized the importance of active participation of local residents and the operation of the residents council through an advanced case study of urban regeneration projects. This research is a paper on efficient workshop methods that conform to the basic direction for revitalizing the design of the district by collecting opinions on regional problems and improvement directions through residents participation methods from the beginning.

특징형상개념을 이용한 CNC선반용 CAD/CAM시스템 개발

Most of CAD/CAM systems for CNC lathe have been developed as the form of automatic programming systems which can generate autormatically or interactively the NC code from the process sheets and design drawings of products. But these systems have some problems during the modeling process of product shap since the shape is not described by the features intimate with system users such as chamfering, rounding, groove, arc and so on. Therfore, in this paer, the feature based CAD/CAM system for CNC lathe which is able to represent the truned product shapes by the typical features, is developed. Especially the system has the various capabilities such as the automatic determination of cutting domains, the automatic generation of CL data and NCcode, the real time cutting simulation for verification of NC code, the DNC operation and so on.
