스포츠 사회학 : 레크리에이션이 자아존중감 및 우울증에 미치는 영향

본 연구는 레크리에이션이 자아존중감 및 우울증에 미치는 영향을 밝혀내고자 한다. 즉, 레크리에이션 실시전보다 실시 후에 과연 자아존중감이 향상되고 우울증이 감소하는지를 규명하고자 한다.본 연구는 2000년 8월 1일부터 8월 12일까지, 8월 22일부터 9월 9일까지 서울시에 소재하고 있는 J 병원과 S병원 성인신경정신과 병동에 입원해 있는 환자 중에서 자아존중감이 낮고 우울감을 호소하고 있는 환자 30명(실험군 15명, 대조군 15명)을 임의 표출하였다. 대조군은 정신요법과 약물요법을 실시한 집단이며, 실험군은 치료 레크리에이션 프로그램을 추가로 병행·실시하였다.설문지의 신뢰도는 자아존중감 척도의 경우 α=.75, 우울증 척도의 경우 α=.82로 나타났다. 본 연구의 통계기법은 SPSS 하위프로그램을 이용하여 t-검증과 상관관계 및 회귀분석을 실시하였다.이상과 같은 연구절차 및 방법을 통해 본 연구에서 도출한 결론은 다음과 같다.첫째, 레크리에이션은 자아존중감에 영향을 미친다. 즉 레크리에이션 실시 전보다 실시 후에 자아존중감은 향상된다.둘째, 레크리에이션은 우울증에 영향을 미친다. 즉 레크리에이션 실시 전보다 실시 후에 우울증은 감소된다.셋째, 레크리에이션 실시집단의 자아존중감은 우울증에 영향을 미친다. 즉 레크리에이션을 통해 자아존중감이 향상되고 이로 인해 우울증은 감소된다. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the influence of therapeutic recreation on the self-esteem and depression. Specially, there was to test the difference of self-esteem and depression according to pre-experiment and post-experiment.This study was carried out two stage. The first stage was from August, 1, 2001 to August, 12, 2001. The second stage was from August, 12, 2001 to September, 9, 2001.The subjects of this study were sampled from the neuropsychiatric open unit of J and S Hospital. They were composed of 30 patients (the group of experiment : 15 peoples, the group of non-experiment : 15 peoples). The group of experiment were received the therapeutic rectreation.The reliability of scale used in this study was self-esteem α =.75, depression α =.82. The statistic techniques were used t-test,correlation analysis and regression analysis by SPSSWIN program version 10.0.There was to conclude the followings through research procedure and method ;First, Therapeutic recreation influences on self-esteem. Namely, self-esteem is higher after experiment than before experiment.Second, Therapeutic recreation influences on depression. Namely, depression is more low after experiment than before experiment.Third, the self-esteem of the group in therapeutic recreation influences on depression. Namely, therapeutic recreation progress self-esteem, and reduce depression.

체조는 초등학생의 운동수행능력 향상과 건강증진에 효과적인 활동임에도 불구하고 교육시설 및 환경, 교사의 실기능력 등의 문제로 인해 교육현장에서 불성실한 수업과 기피현상이 꾸준히 보고되어 온 것이 사실이다. 이와 같은 상황에서 본 연구는 초등학교 체조교육의 실태를 논의하고 발견되는 문제점에 대한 체조교육 내실화 방안을 제시하는데 목적을 두었다. 연구결과 초등학교 체조교육의 문제적 현 주소로서 1) 체조수업 기피현상의 심화, 2) 초등교사와 체조의 불편한 관계, 3) 게임활동 중심의 체육수업 만연, 4) 선진국의 초등체조교육과정 대비 짧은 교육기간이 중요한 문제점으로 판단되었다. 이와 같은 문제점에 대해 연구자의 체조전문지도자로서의 경험을 바탕으로 다음과 같은 초등학교 체조교육 내실화 방안을 제시하였다. 첫째, 초등 4년 과정에서 6년 과정으로의 체조교육과정 개편, 둘째, 교육대학교 체조교과목 지도의 전문성 강화, 셋째, 교사의 체조전문성 강화 교육 프로그램 개발 및 시행, 넷째, 스포츠강사제도를 통한 체조 전문강사 배치, 다섯째, 새로운 건강체조의 제작 및 보급. The purpose of the study was to explore current status of gymnastics education in elementary schools and to provide suggestions for its reinforcement. As results, gymnastics education in elementary schools have had the following problems; 1) intensified avoiding phenomenon of gymnastics education by teachers, 2) uncomfortable relationships between gymnastics and teachers, 3) spread of game activity-centered physical education, and 4) shorter duration of gymnastics education compared to advance countries in physical education. Based on the discovered problems of gymnastics education, the following resolutions were proposed; 1) restructuring gymnastics education from 4-year to 6-year curriculum, 2) reinforcing professionalism of gymnastics education in educational universities, 3) creating and enforcing gymnastic educational program that reinforces professionalism of elementary school teachers, 4) dispatching gymnastic-professionalized instructors at elementary schools, 5) producing and supply a new healthy gymnastics program.
