        인간공학 기준에 의한 차세대형 주제어실 조명설계 및 조도 휘도 분석

        Currently an office in information society is advanced to a digitalized VDT office. The VDT office has a natural luminous system prioritizing visual perception and so importance of lighting design by artificial lighting is emphasized in the VDT office. The purpose of the study is to analyze Illumination and Luminance for lighting design by the standard of ergonomics in the VDT office. The study analyzed Illumination and Luminance in the main control room of an nuclear power plant needing a design of ergonomics ACR(Advanced Control Room) type Ling Ao phase II NPP MCR in Guangdong, China. The study examined the relativity of ACR characteristics to its operator's duties and set up an outline of lighting design, the standard of ergonomics and input data for the analysis. Thus, the study examined appropriateness with the standard of ergonomics setting up the analyzed Illumination and Luminance and drew a conclusion.

        도시화에 따른 공공공간의 지속가능한 디자인 유형에 관한 연구

        Ever since the industrial revolution, large cities have become a field of new lifestyle and urbanization, causing climate change and environmental pollution. As a result, countermeasures for revolving these problems is needed. In addition, large cities in the information age have become a space where each nation executes its public policy to express the competitiveness of each city. In this study, countermeasures for the environmental crises caused by urbanization as well as the sustainable spatial designs for the cities are investigated as a new source of urban competitiveness, and the environmental aesthetics for designing public space is considered. The purpose of this study is to suggest a direction for sustainable designs and planning that is applicable to public space. According to the definition of sustainability, the items of the spatial implementation of ecological, economical and social sustainability are categorized. Based on this categorization, the sustainable designs of public space are classified into five types, and a comprehensive analysis of good public spaces from previous literature is conducted. The concepts of design and three elements--public space, sustainability, and their instrumental meanings, are integrated in this study. The significance of this study lies in the actual application of the classification to the planning and design of sustainable public space in cities, rather than being a conceptual classification.

        방폐장터널의 무전극형광램프 조명설계 및 시뮬레이션을 통한 적합성 검토

        조명은 공간을 비추는 기본적인 기능 외에 진보된 기술과 디자인으로 다양한 연출 효과와 함께 공간에 효율성을 좌우한다. 공간의 효율성에 적합한 조명설계는 공간의 입지적 여건과 램프 특성에 따라 설계되어질 때 가능해진다. 특히, 특수공간의 조명설계는 공간적 특수성을 감안하여 사전 분석과 검토가 요구된다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 방폐장 터널의 공간적 특수성을 감안한 조명환경을 위하여 사전의 조명설계와 시뮬레이션을 통한 적합성 검토를 하고자 한다. 이에 무전극형광램프를 제안하며 방폐장 터널의 입지현황에 따라 구간별 조명설계 기준과 구성을 제시하고 이를 통한 조명설계를 바탕으로 시뮬레이션 분석을 하여 적합성 검토한다. Besides its basic function of illuminating a space, lighting can greatly affect the efficiency of a space when an advanced technology and planning, together with the effects of various presentations, are applied to lighting. A lighting plan suitable for maximizing the efficiency of a space will only be made feasible by considering the location of a space and the characteristics of the lamps to be used. In particular, the lighting plan for a space with a special function requires prior investigation and analysis of that space. In this study, the feasibility of a lighting environment for the tunnel of a radioactive waste disposal facility is investigated via a prior lighting design and simulation, which take into account the spatial characteristics of the tunnel. For this study, the use of fluorescent induction lamp is suggested, and the standards of lighting plan and structure are followed depending on the location of each segment of the tunnel. Then, a simulation analysis is conducted to investigate the feasibility of the plan.

        GRC를 적용한 테마파크의 라이드어트랙션 환경디자인 특성에 관한 연구

        (Background and Purpose) Themes parks are becoming an increasingly popular and new form of leisure entertainment due to increased leisure time and personal income, resulting from the five-day workweek. Those who visit theme parks mainly experience watching shows, eating and drinking, and going on rides. The non-everydayness felt through these experiences can maximize the amusement, which is the essence of human activity. The theme park should, therefore, create a space where visitors can encounter a synesthetic experience that is extraordinary. Since GRC has a formative characteristic that can make various shapes with steel frames, this has been an important factor in environment design for synesthetic theme parks. Accordingly, in domestic and foreign theme parks, GRC is actively applied in the design of ride environments. The purpose of this study is to analyze the characteristics of GRC application and to inform the design of the new ride attraction environment. (Method) This research studies the environment design of ride attractions applying GRC and specifically identifies boarding facilities as key elements of theme parks. For the research analysis, first we analyze the components of the ride attraction setting and examine how to formulate environment design. Second, we define the concept of GRC through theoretical consideration and analyze the advantages of construction methods, materials and expressions. Third, we select ride attractions currently using GRC in domestic and international theme parks, and conduct case study analysis through direct visits and scrutiny of the drawings. (Results) The findings indicate that the ride attraction environment constructed using GRC is an effective way to implement themes such as nature, history, and movies. Indeed, the significant advantage of GRC is evident when creating sculptures of natural objects, such as trees and stones, and visualizing the flow of time. In addition to the observable elements, the performance stimulating sensations including hearing, smelling, and touch can reinforce the immersion of viewers. (Conclusions) The theme park has become an important final destination for people. Therefore, in order to satisfy visitors' sense of purpose, it is necessary to provide an interesting experience beyond everyday reality. However, focusing solely upon the 'ride' will not satisfy the expectations of visitors who crave an authentic experience. As a result, the study concludes that theme parks must create an environment of non-everydayness that is beyond reality, along with fantastic ride attractions, for which the application of GRC is highly appropriate. Moreover, a safely constructed ride attraction based on creative imagination will prompt tourists to revisit the same theme park in future.

        수용자 인지과정을 위한 유통공간의 맥락적 구조에 대한 연구

        (Background and Purpose) Changes in consumption patterns resulting from the development of information have resulted in diversified distribution channels, consumption methods, and value changes. The brand space is a role of the emotional place that communicates rather than the simple sales purpose. It is an element of offline marketing that provides the place where the consumer accepts the brand. In addition, the pace of market preoccupation in the fast-changing distribution market is crucial to the competitive advantage. The rapid rate of distribution is spreading without the research of the right audience, with only the intention of the brand side. Therefore, a systematic cognitive process with the audience and a study on the context of communication appropriate to the brand and the target in various distribution environments, as well as the manual of classification and structure of space are required. Through this study, brand awareness process provides value through an efficient message using a structured organization of space; brand awareness also provides a manual value as a study of utility value, which is used as a practical element. (Methods) The scope of the research was defined as the space of the brand based on brand marketing in the distribution space. This study explored changes in consumption patterns and diversification of distribution channels, and then analyzed changes in accepting brands according to experience. To classify the contextual structure, the relationship between the brand and the retail market, and the taxonomy found in the experiential cognitive process of consumers were introduced and analyzed. (Results) In this study, the system based on the brand space was studied according to the change of the marketing market environment and the consumer pattern. It also introduced the case by deriving the contextual structure of the distribution space. (Conclusions) Logical completion of the contextual structure requires a review and judgment of the results. The functional role of each classified space and object, and the content that the expression elements of the strategic media can maintain and develop in the long term, are required. This is because the consistent identity is reclassified according to environment in each retail trade channel. It is necessary to connect the perception of the brand to the context of the experience. This research process can quickly respond to the reality of unfolding the brand in the process of diffusion of the brand space and not being systematically established in the temporal and physical situations, and focusing on the needs of the brand`s position. The number of cases that can reflect the needs of consumers based on the stores in operation was classified and the preceding classification method was substituted.

        장소기억 기반 문화예술공간의 재생디자인에 관한 연구

        (Background and Purpose)As society evolved from deindustrialization to knowledge industries, cities evolved as new societies by generating relatively underdeveloped cities that incurred slumism. Simultaneously, many idle spaces occurred in underdeveloped cities. Although the government has a variety of policies to regenerate idle space, most of the space is merely being recycled. As such, this study gives meaning to place as a medium that connects people with place using place memory. Further, this study confirms characteristics of place memory to form place identity and analyzes characteristics of revitalization in culture and art space to regenerate space by reviewing cases of culture and art space with social value and place memory from Korea and abroad. (Method)This study reviews and analyzes the concept, meaning, and characteristics of place memory to study the revitalization of culture and art space. Place memory is classified based on experience, memory, and publicness in terms of semantics, and physics, society, culture, and time in terms of space. Regarding the revitalization of idle space, this study determined six key words, including art and sharing, efficiency through cultural, social and economic value and analyzes culture and art space as public value. Further, this study draws 11 elements of revitalization in structure and semantics to analyze revitalization cases of culture and art spaces using place memory. By doing so, this study confirms various revitalization methods of culture and art spaces through place memory. (Results)This study analyzed eight cases on space from Korea and abroad based on the expression of place memory and revitalization value of idle space. The results show that, first, most of the culture and art spaces promote broadening cultural exchanges by utilizing various programs, such as cultural enjoyment and cultural creation. Additionally, this study confirms place revitalization where the past and present overlap visually by having modern reinterpretations of material and expressions from the exterior of a building and frame structure. Second, active communication and sharing between countries and regions promote cultural exchanges. The value connecting people to a place can be represented by using the method of drawing elements of place memory. (Conclusions)This study culturally, socially, and economically classifies the revitalization value of culture and art space using idle space, and finds characteristics of place memory adds to the value of a place. Morphological, temporal, and semantic elements drawn from the structural and semantic characteristics of place memory solidify the foundation of place identity and represent the public value of sharing and communication that connects people to places and people to people. The harmony of individual value can be expanded into more nationally valuable measures that affect both regional and urban revitalization.

        광역버스 환승공간의 유니버설디자인에 관한 연구

        (Background and Purpose) As the living range of the metropolitan area has been distributed from Seoul to the Gyeonggi-do, various conflicts such as transportation and environment are increasing. As the use of public transportation increases, roadside bus shelter with rapid bus transfer spaces are crowded. Problems such as congestion on pedestrian streets and design guidelines did not apply to rapid bus transfer spaces. Due to bus waiting passengers flocking to a certain time zone, inconvenience and confusion in finding directions and obtaining information for users are caused. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to derive problems from the user's point of view and in the aspect of universal design so that the quality of rapid bus transfer space can be improved in the future. (Method) Two of the wide-area bus transfer spaces in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do were surveyed to identify problems and suggest improvement directions in terms of Universal Design. First, we classified users who commute between Seoul and Gyeonggi-do and conducted 'Be the Customer' during rush hour to draw obstacles. Secondly, we classified rapid bus transfer spaces in Gangnam and Sadang areas, which are the most boarding and unloading areas connecting Seoul and Gyeonggi-do based on Universal design components and conducted case studies. (Results) The lack of guidance facilities needed for the use of rapid bus transfer space confused users in recognizing and using bus transfer space, and the queueing was adding to the narrowness of pedestrian space, which is a basic element of transportation for people. A unified design should be built based on design guidelines due to the difficulty of recognition by users who move between region to region. Also, it should be composed of distinctive colors and designs and equipped with convenient facilities that can be used comfortably in the atmosphere. Also, information signage and pictograms should be displayed so that transfer space can be easily recognized, and visual, auditory, and tactile directions should be provided to resolve the confusion. (Conclusions) Through this study, this conclusion was drawn by identifying it as an element of the universal design of rapid bus transfer space. First, despite the Seoul Metropolitan Government's standard design guidelines, different designs were applied to each region, which made it more inconvenient for users to recognize the transfer space. Second, due to the increased number of rapid buses, loads of information was provided in the transit space, causing a lack of visual awareness and inconvenience in waiting, getting on and off. Through this, the rapid bus transfer space needs to communicate with a unified design guideline in the future, and it should be effectively applied to the rapid bus transfer space with the direction pursued by Universal Design.

        이용자 형태 중심 광역버스 환승정류장 가이드라인에 관한 연구

        (Background and Purpose) The use of public transportation has increased due to large numbers of people living in the Seoul metropolitan area and commuting between the metropolitan areas; however, the user satisfaction has been low. As it is necessary to resolve the qualitative inconvenience experienced by users by focusing only on quantitative expansion, this study aimed to evaluate the guidelines of transit stops for users of wide-area buses at various times and suggested universal design guidelines after examining the current situation. (Method) First, to conduct a case study on the domestic and foreign transfer stations, the street bus station, central bus station, and transfer center, which are defined as transfer station in this study based on the bus station guidelines, the scope of the research transfer station was set through theoretical consideration. Second, the transfer station facilities and design considerations were derived from the bus station guidelines, and four universal design elements, seven elements, and three keywords were derived from prior research. Third, based on the analysis of the three types of domestic and foreign transfer stations considering user behaviors, the applicability of the current guidelines was determined. (Results) According to domestic and foreign case analysis, the central bus stop and transfer center are relatively equipped with facilities and considerations compared to the street bus station. The street bus stop, which has been used for a long time, was not given any consideration in the guidelines. Overseas, the unified design was reflected by establishing a consistent policy for a long time, and its role as a transit stop was highly recognized. (Conclusion) With the growth of metropolitan population, the transfer station lacks facilities and considerations compared to the increasing number of metropolitan buses. First, considering the facilities and current guidelines in terms of universal design, and focusing on user behavior, the street bus station and facilities are insufficient, so it is necessary to improve them. Second, it necessary to urgently apply integrated guidelines and universal design to minimize confusion. Third, compared to the increasing number of commuters and the utilization rate, the current guidelines only mention the installation location of the rapid bus transfer station, which will require detailed regulations. Fourth, integrated design guidelines for the transfer station divided into three types are necessary.
