To proportionally control the electronic valve position of the actuator, we designed and fabricated PCU, CPT, and rotary absolute optical encoder for the detection of absolute angular position in the actuator. We also designed and constructed the test system by using DAQ hardware and Labview. We designed PCU to convert 1-5 V, 0-5 V, 0-10 V, 2-10 V voltage signals and 4-20 mA current signals to the voltage signals in the common 0.5-2.5 V range. We designed CPT to output 4-20 mA current signals corresponding to the valve positions based on the PWM signal input from the MCU. We also designed 20 bit optical encoder by using infrared LED and infrared transistor and made the serial communication with the main board possible. When we tested PCU and CPT with DAQ hardware and Labview software, they operated correctly with the small errors within ${\pm}0.003$ V and ${\pm}0.01$ mA, respectively, showing that our actuator has the excellent performance to employ as the industrial proportional-valve-actuator. The resolution of the encoder was $11.25^{\circ}$ and the maximum revolution to detect was 32,768. 본 연구에서는 전기식 밸브 액추에이터의 개폐 정도를 입력신호에 비례하여 제어하기 위한 PCU (Proportional Control Unit), CPT (Current Position Transmitter)와 액추에이터의 회전위치를 측정하는 Rotary Absolute Optical Encoder를 설계 및 제작 하였고, DAQ 하드웨어와 LabView를 사용한 테스트 시스템을 설계하여 성능시험을 하였다. PCU는 1-5V, 0-5V, 0-10V, 2-10V 전압 신호와 4-20mA의 전류신호를 일정한 범위의 0.5-2.5V 전압신호로 변환하도록 설계하였다. CPT는 MCU의 PWM 신호를 입력받아 밸브의 개폐 정도를 4-20mA의 전류신호로 출력 하도록 하였다. Infrared LED와 Infrared Transistor를 사용하여 20bit Optical Encoder를 개발하였으며, Main Board와 Serial 통신을 하도록 설계하였다. DAQ 하드웨어와 Labview를 통한 테스트 결과 PCU는 ${\pm}0.003V$, CPT는 ${\pm}0.01mA$의 오차범위 내에서 작동하여 산업용 밸브 액추에이터가 안정적으로 작동하는 것을 관찰하였으며, Encoder는 $11.25^{\circ}$의 분해능을 갖고, 최대 32,768 회의 모터회전수 범위까지 측정할 수 있도록 하였다.
신규 액상폴리머 용해장치 개발을 통한 원가절감 및 단위공정 자동화

Traditionally the powdered polymer is used in the sewage treatment and water purifying plants. The powdered polymer has several problems such as bad working condition by dispersed powder and unstable operation of dehydrator by a lump of undissolved polymer, so emulsion polymer is used recently. However, preexisting emulsion polymer dissolving facility can't be the perfect alternative because it has some technical problems. By analyzing preexisting system problems, we applied a new dissolving unit(Mixing corn) and a lot of things to accomplish complete automation. As a result, tile system that we invented can reduce the cost of facility and is suitable for unit-procss automation. we hava already acquired patent in this new facility at september 2007.
